The Opportunity Nobody Posts on Job Boards
I'm looking for a paid writing partner. Someone who wants to get genuinely good at VSL and long-form direct response copy for financial newsletters — and is willing to do the work to get there. If that's you, the rest of this is worth reading. *Here's what I'm looking for* I'm working on VSL and long-form direct response copy for financial newsletters. I need a writing partner. The most important qualifications are that you're hungry, curious, and thoughtful. Maybe you're freelancing and plateaued. Maybe you've never landed a real client but you're ready to start. If any of that lands — keep reading. *What you bring* You put pen to paper. Structuring the narrative. Building the argument. Grinding through revisions until the copy earns its read. You understand that the first draft is just the beginning, not the finish line. One more thing: I actively encourage using AI in your process. But I want full transparency on how you're using it — show me the prompts, show me the drafts, show me the thinking. What I won't tolerate is AI slop dressed up as effort. I can spot it immediately, and it's a fast track to nowhere. *What I bring* - Ideas. A lot of them., - Access to a network of senior copywriters who've written in the financial space for years — the kind of mentors most people spend thousands of dollars trying to get in a room with., - Paid work. Real assignments with real feedback that sharpens your skills faster than any course you'll ever buy., *The Opportunity* I view this as a collaboration. You grow your skills and your portfolio. I get copy that's actually written. We both win. Pay is negotiable and scales with what you can do. *If this is you* Send me an email at [email protected] Tell me a little about your background. Where you are in your copywriting journey. What you're looking for out of something like this.

1.9MM impression on this stupid post
it's always the dumbest stuff that goes viral. I was down the shore with my fam and I laughed to myself about the whole "market price" thing on menus one night while we were at dinner, so I fired this off: https://x.com/chrisorzy/status/2068787907599507818?s=20 Didn't generate any new business, obviously. but now Im only ~500k impressions away from being monetized, so that's pretty cool, I guess

Chase payout
Chase got one of his lowest payouts ever - $186. Usually it's $500 to $1,200. But I had a terrible engagement period - most of the stuff at the end will hit for next cycle's payout. How did everyone else do?

Hi Guys. I just wanted to introduce myself
Hi everyone, I've been following Charlie for a little while, and I recently purchased the How to Post guide. I'm interested in learning how to write online and, hopefully, turn it into a side business. I already write in my spare time, but it's mostly about history, religion, culture, and anthropology. Right now, I'm currently working on a book about the history of different religious movements. Parody is a bit different from the kind of writing I usually do, but I'm excited to learn and give it my best shot. Great to meet you all!

Welcome to Solo Writers
Welcome to Solo Writers! This group is for people who write about business online. That includes people building a personal brand, content agency people, ghostwriters, meme account writers, shitposters, and anyone else who likes to write online about business. This group is all about sharing: - Our writing - Formats that are working - Content ideas - Job opportunities - Memes - Results from our writing businesses - And anything else related to writing online Feel free to introduce yourself and link to your work - and let us know how you can help the group, and how we can help you A quick intro from me: I'm Charlie Light. I run parody accounts for a living. Accounts I run right now have over 900,000 followers (primarily on X), and I've generated millions for myself from X/Twitter. My biggest parody accounts are Chase Passive Income and Mason Home Builder. I used to run an agency, but now I just take on a few clients at a time and only write about topics I enjoy. My core belief about content is that good writing comes from a place of creativity and interest; you can only create great content when you're willing to be creative and experiment. I created this group to help writers unlock the great content they have inside their heads. My personal X account is @charlewrich.
