Block 8 Mini Shell
The Mini Shell Stitch creates a soft, textured fabric with small shell-shaped groups of stitches. This stitch adds gentle movement and decorative detail while still being beginner friendly. To make the mini shell stitch, work 1 single crochet and 2 double crochet into the same stitch, then skip the next 2 stitches. Repeat this pattern across the row to create small, soft shell shapes. Each mini shell has 3 stitches total: 1 Sc + 2 Dc Common Beginner Mistakes - Forgetting to skip 2 stitches between shells - Working the next shell into the wrong stitch - Accidentally adding or losing stitches across the row - Pulling the double crochet stitches too tight - Forgetting to measure after a few rows - Uneven tension causing the edges to pull inward To learn more about how to do the Mini Shell stitch, CLICK HERE. It looks great. Beautiful yarn.
Block 7 Spider Stitch
The Spider Stitch, a pretty textured stitch pattern made by working (single crochet, chain 1, single crochet) in the same stitch or space. How to Crochet the Spider Stitch The Spider Stitch is: (Sc, Ch 1, Sc) in the same stitch or space That full group makes one Spider Stitch. WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: Each Spider Stitch creates a small open “V” or fan-like shape. As rows build, the new Spider Stitches are worked into the chain-1 spaces from the row below. How to Work It 1. Insert hook into the indicated stitch or chain-1 space. 2. Yarn over and pull up a loop. 3. Yarn over, pull through 2 loops. You have made a single crochet. 4. Chain 1. 5. Insert hook into the same stitch or space. 6. Yarn over and pull up a loop. 7. Yarn over, pull through 2 loops. You have now made a single crochet in the same spot. That completes one Spider Stitch:(Sc, Ch 1, Sc) More information on how to do a Spider Stitch can be found HERE The pattern to Block 7: Spider Stitch can be found HERE

Very nice stitch.
The Trinity Stitch
This beautiful stitch is a lot like the star stitch. To me, it looks like little flowers. This will be Block 17 once I have the pattern ready. What do you think?

It is very pretty.
Block 6: Moss Stitch
The Moss Stitch is made by repeating: Single Crochet, Chain 1, Skip 1 On the next row, you work your single crochet into the chain-1 spaces from the row below. That is what gives the Moss Stitch its soft, woven look. You can see the full lesson on how to do the Moss Stitch HERE. Block 6: Moss Stitch Notes - Measure after Row 3. - Your block should be close to 8 inches wide before edging. - If it is too narrow, start over and add to your foundation chain. - If it is too wide, start over and reduce your foundation chain. - Staying within about 1/4 inch is fine. - Count your rows as you go. Foundation Ch 30 (or an even number, if you crochet loosely you may only need 28) Row 1 Sc in the 4th ch from hook, Sc, then Ch 1, Skip next ch, *Sc in next ch, ch 1, skip next Chain ; repeat from * across. Sc in turning chain space. Ch 2 and turn. Row 2 Sc in first Ch-1 space, Ch 1, Sk next Sc, *Sc in next Ch-1 sp; repeat from * across. Work 1 Sc in the space created by the turning chain at the end of the row. Ch 2 and turn. Rows 3 and Up Repeat Row 2 until your block measures approximately 8 inches tall.
