Wendy and I are heading to Tennessee later in January to visit our son and his family, and while we’re out there (Jan 26–29), we’re planning to make a special stop: a visit to @Greg Trotnic’s property in the Smoky Mountains. This is honestly one of my favorite things to do — getting boots on the ground at a member’s land. There’s nothing quite like walking the property, seeing the terrain, hearing the story behind the place, and imagining the possibilities together. It always gives me a deeper feel for what’s possible and what challenges might be hiding just beneath the surface. I've done this with @Anja Wynne and @Jason Schott's, just because they're so close by, but this will be extra special to visit our Tennessee Golden friend's. Greg, looking forward to seeing your spot in person and getting a clearer picture of the vision you’re building out there in the Smokies. Hey everyone — quick update. I just published a new YouTube video with one goal in mind: bringing more landowners into this community who are serious about developing their property. It’s a short intro to Your Land Is Gold — who we are, why we exist, and why no one should have to navigate zoning, financing, permitting, or land development alone. My hope is that a few viewers out there will hear the story and think, “Okay… this is the group I’ve been looking for.” I’m trying to widen the funnel a bit and pull in the kind of people who will strengthen what we’re already building here — thoughtful landowners, motivated beginners, and folks who want to learn shoulder-to-shoulder the same way we do.
