2 contributions to 🎙️Skool Summit Stage🎙️
If I had judged my future by my first 6.5 months, I would’ve been VERY wrong.
Two years ago, I was chasing people in the DMs. Today, my Skool course is being taught inside communities serving 36,000+ members. I haven’t really shared much about this inside Summit Stage because we were a little busy putting on a 3-day FIRE 🔥 summit 😂 But this is a win I’m really proud of. When I first started digital marketing, I was NOT successful. And I don’t mean I wasn’t making enough money. I wasn’t making ANY money. For my first 6.5 months, I was learning, trying things, making mistakes and wondering if any of it was ever going to work. I was a beginner again. It was frustrating. Discouraging. And there were definitely days I thought about quitting. I’m so glad I didn’t. A few months ago, my Skool course was added inside the Made From Zero program. And now, the Boss Suite has added it too. And Both have brought ME on to coach their members each month!🤯🙌🏼 Something I created from everything I’ve learned building, growing, and making money with Skool is now being taught inside communities serving 36,000+ people. That still feels a little unreal. Those first 6.5 months weren’t wasted. Every post, video, mistake and lesson was teaching me something I eventually turned into my Ultimate Skool Playbook. So if you’re in the season where you’re putting in the work but wondering why it’s taking so long… Don’t let the timeline fool you. So so so many people give up Nd quit Before their breakthrough You may be building something much bigger than you realize. Drop a GIF if you’re in your “keep going” season. 👇🏽 I feel you and I promise you are not alone in the messy middle

Doing the work...
G'day from New Zealand 😉👍🏼
Hi I am Chris, I live in Hamilton, NZ. I am a bit older, and am just navigating a redundancy which has turned my side hustle into my main gig! I have been coaching TEDx speakers for over a decade, and have coached well over 100 at this stage. I did it voluntarily at first, then charged to do it on the side. And now it is [gulp] my business. Fun Facts: I am an award winning filmmaker, I have been a stunt extra and appeared on TV, cable and movies. I used to run a Kyokushin Karate Dojo, and I have a fun casual podcast that has been going for about 12 years (episode 593 of our weekly podcast will go out this week). 😃 Right now I am doing a launch of a coaching program for experts and business owners who want to put together their message from the stage. The launch and the program is all being done through Skool. 🤩

Good question @Jamie Kullman, I have a tendency to try to do too much to soon for free. It isn't about greed. 😉 It's about commitment. When I give advice for free it is seldom acted on, when people pay, they take more action, and they get better results. That has taken a while to get my head around. Also it is important that the person I am working with has an event deadline. When I work with people who want to do a talk 'sometime', there is no external pressure and they make slow marginal progress. When they have an important talk looming they take action and their talk becomes exponentially better.
