We love hearing about the variety of projects you are all working on. It really gets our creative juices flowing! All too often after hearing of something someone is doing I think to myself "that would be a great project to work on!" What has been your Favorite DIY Project and Why?
Most recently?? I would have to say pulling down my old cedar fence that was falling over and milling down the pickets, shaping them with my router, sanding, stain, and a few coats of lacquer and they turned into juat the most amazing pieces of base trim in just the hallway of my home. Only had to splice onve but, they matched so perfectly it came out incredible. I ended up using that cedar to make picture frames, restored an old chairlift from the 60's. Just incredible material to work with. It pains me to think that I allowed my late wife to burn so much of it, as she loved fires. But she is obviously forgiven.
Ill be posting a bunch of my projects, hopefully you'll like them. From serious business, to just fun diy ideas my brain thinks up. Look forward to our conversations and collaboration.
