I'm excited to share that the Raise Your Rates Calculator is here! I'm excited to share it with y'all. It's got some key features in it. I made a little video to help you get a understanding of how to use it and what is about. It's going to be in the Classroom. Enjoy! PS: It doesn't tell you what you should charge. It shows you the minimum that you should charge.

Nice this inspired me to re do mine.
Light Pros tap in
I’m shopping around for some lighting to upgrade my production. Any suggestions… I would like something mobile and versatile. I’m over my beginner light set.. I currently have a ring light and a cheap set of soft box lights… I am looking for something that is good for video.. and will be small enough to allow me to remain mobile to some degree.. some suggest everything from Newer to Amaran. I haven’t been convinced on the value of one over the other, besides price and brand loyalty. So I want a set up that will give me the best quality at a decent price considering any extras of special stand and all the extras that come with more expensive equipment. I also need to look into some flash lighting also… the goal is to support brands with video and photography for their brand. In a ideal world I would like High power led panels (mobility) with Bowens mount (diffusers) and RGB capability (shot variety)
Shot List Homework
The shot list helped. I had to make sure I had my music selected before I made shot lost though. I think it is also key. I was able to count how many clips based on the music. I was almost tempted to create images as placeholders on the timeline, but i kept it rough and simple. The edit didn’t turn out exactly like my shot list but i did feel more confident in the direction when capturing the footage. Good game Ryant. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C_-3bdzKtPk/?igsh=MWU0dXN3Z2hrYWcxdg==

@Ryant Nelson my shot list had more cut away during the speech, but I didn’t know what he was going to say so I had to cut away where it made since.

Shotlists Yay! Or Nay?
What’s up family, if you missed last nights call don’t miss the next one, but one of the things we talked about is shotlists and how to use them. Those that are on the call … what were your takeaways ??

Get a power supply that can last 8 hrs or more SD card v60 or better Shooting handheld and doing image stabilization in post will give you more versatility in the field. Toggle power save mode setting after 10 seconds When hiring people make sure they are their to help the vision and not on their own agenda. Shot list are great for establishing a focus for your video. Types of shots in a shot list consist of establishing shots, detail shots, unique shots Camera movement should be deliberate and in one direction per clip. Pan, dolly, zoom, etc Inventory list are super helpful when keeping track of your equipment in fast paced production environments or when traveling.
