Trip to Brazil
Hello Everyone, I want to answer common questions about the upcoming trip to Brazil here. The dates of the Conference are Wednesday, February 25th - Sunday, March 1st. We will be doing outreach, evangelism, prayer and worship daily at the church, with people coming starting from February 18th until March 1st. If you are able to arrive on February 18th that would be great. We will coordinate pickup and transportation for your arrival. The airport to fly into is CNF Belo Horizonte, Tancredo Neves International. The nicest Hotel is $100 a night, a nice hotel is about $70 to $80 a night. The USD is 5x the Brazilian currency. Food at a really nice restaurant (Brazilian Steakhouse) is $10 a plate. It will be summer in February, so expect 70 to 80 degrees. When you read about safety in Brazil the articles usually talk about Rio de Janeiro which is very unsafe. Belo Horizonte is very safe. You can use your phone on the streets. People are friendly and very open. Belo Horizonte has the best food in Brazil. Other Brazilians from other places will tell you that. We will book two Vans for the time that you are coming but I need to know once you've booked your flights so I can have everyone staying at the same hotel. Also if you come early (Before the 25th or stay later than the conference we can go and visit nice places around the city or even outside.) You need a visa to enter Brazil. "How To Be Free" E-course...Life changing knowledge for sure. Peeling back layers of my life's journey in order to be free. God has not only open my eyes with this particular E Course, Wow would be a understatement, no more excuses for why this or why that, removing the justifying, minimizing, rationalizing, interllectualing from my thought process. Now taking this deep dive to understand Cheris journey
Day 6 - 1 Corinthians 11-12
1 Corinthians 11: 26, for me, holds a testimony of healing from a lying, oppressive spirit. I was taught to contemplate the possibility that symptoms of physical infirmity could possibly be caused by a lying, oppressive spirit. Accordingly, my testimony, in summary, is: I believe I would be walking with a limp today if I had not resisted the enemy by declaring and proclaiming 1 Corinthians 11:26 over my body. THE BACKGROUND IS AS FOLLOWS: A few years ago, I heard a pastor speak about lying symptoms. He spoke about the importance of not just instantly coming into agreement with symptoms. He explained, by illustration, that he had a former college classmate who worked for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). She told him that each time they are faced with a hazmat (hazardous materials) situation, their protocol is to initially treat it as the highest level threat con (threat condition). After they gather data, investigate, etc..., they adjust the threaten level accordingly. By analogy, the pastor asked us to consider taking the same approach when we encounter physical infirmity - start out treating it as the highest level threat condition (threat con) which is spiritual oppression. During this time, we are not to come into agreement with the symptoms. He went on to share that if the root of the condition is spiritual, employing natural/physical/medical solutions is not going to work. MY TESTIMONY: A few years ago (no more than 3-4 years ago), I was experiencing a faint sensation of weakness that would periodically shoot from my right knee to my right hip socket. It was not a pain, but just a faint sensation of weakness - I noticed it but it didn't stop me from doing anything so I didn't even mention it to anyone. This went on for quite a period of time. I don't have a point of reference, regarding how much time, because I didn't take action - but I estimate it was 6 to 12 months, or even longer, that I experienced the periodic episodes of a faint sensation of weakness shooting between the right knee and the right hip socket.
