YouTube isn't a social media platform anymore.
Nielsen confirmed it. YouTube is now the #1 media distributor in the US โ€” ahead of Disney, Netflix, broadcast TV, and cable combined. And here's the part most coaches haven't processed yet: Over 45% of YouTube watch time in the US now happens on a television screen. Not a phone. Not a laptop. A living-room TV. Which means right now, somewhere, a prospect who fits your ideal client profile is leaning back on their sofa, watching a 15-minute video on a 55-inch screen - and deciding who the authority in your niche is. The question is whether that video is yours. When someone watches you on their TV, the same trust signals that made television advertising worth billions for 70 years transfer directly to you. You stop being a coach with a YouTube channel. You become a broadcast presence. The psychological effect on how warm they arrive at a discovery call is not the same as a 60-second scroll on Instagram. But most coaches are still producing content sized for a phone screen, paced for a social feed โ€” for a platform they think their ideal client isn't on. The data says otherwise. Here's something worth having if you're speaking at events, networking, or meeting prospects in person. My good friend Claudio Campobassi from Skool Founders Lab just built a free Skool QR Code Generator - it turns your community URL into a QR code or custom smartphone wallpaper so you can share your community without spelling out a URL. Worth noting: YouTube now officially endorses QR codes as CTAs for TV viewers, because clicking a description link with a remote is impossible. The offline-to-online bridge just became a broadcast strategy, not just a networking trick. Worth 2 minutes to try: https://claudiocampobassi.com/skoolqrcode

@Stephanie Wilson Oh no! My head is way to big to be shown on a TV holy cow... I'm going to have to get further away from the camera ๐Ÿ˜‚ Mom used to call me bucket head.
I slashed client support time by over 60% - without hiring help or fancy tools.
Hey gang, I just hit "publish" on LinkedIn with something I think many of you will nod along to. I cut my support time by over 60%. My coaches now self-serve most questions 24-7. (Yes, really - and it's not some complicated new tool stack.) Here's a link to the POST. The core idea: short, unlisted YouTube videos turned into a private playlist that lives in your welcome sequence, client dashboard, and group resources. Record once โ†’ clients rewatch anytime โ†’ you stop repeating yourself on the basics. In the post I share: - The exact moment it clicked for me (same repetitive questions eating 8-10 hours/week) - The simple 4-step process I use to create and deploy these - Why this beats endless emails/calls for onboarding, frameworks, and quick fixes - Real shifts in client results and how it quietly boosts retention If you're already dipping into the video library here, this explains the "why" behind it โ€“ and why I keep adding to it. Full breakdown (with the steps and examples) is here on LinkedIn: READ IT HERE ๐Ÿ‘ˆ

Good stuff Des. Liked and followed! Makes me want to explore going live here soon. I have virtually zero audience so I'd like to build that before going live in an empty room... with no audience to tell I'm going live lol
What Is The Difference?
So, what is the difference between The Content Revenue Lab and this new community? Quite a lot, actually. In the Content Revenue Lab, I teach over 40s how to monetise their YouTube channels. Whether that's via a Skool community or digital products, and even courses. This community is actually set up to work with COACHES AND CONSULTANTS who already have coaching and consulting clients. You're already using social media, but you either haven't thought of using YouTube or never knew you could actually get leads from it. In this community, we also teach you how to use YouTube as your customer service agent, your marketing agent, and your sales agent. Believe it or not, YouTube can do all three.
