Every coach had that one line… šŸ˜‚
You know the one—Said it every single day…Didn’t always make sense…But somehow you’ll never forget it. Our OL coach at ULM, JB Grimes, used to say at least twice a day: ā€œI’m not going to piss on your leg and tell you're sweating.ā€ We didn’t fully understand it at the time…But we knew it meant business. šŸ˜† šŸ‘‡ Drop yours below—Best coach phrases you’ve heard (or STILL say today) Let’s build the ultimate list. I’ll start collecting the best ones and turn it into a graphic for the community.

I always say "Praat is afdraand, Doen is opdraand". Loosely translated it says "Speaking is downhill, Doing is uphill" It means it is always easy to say something, the true test comes when we must do it.
Build this Community with Me
Coaches — I want this to be the most valuable community you’re part of. But I don’t want to guess… I want to build it with you. Quick question — what would help you the MOST right now? šŸ‘‡ Drop a number (or comment if you’ve got something else): 1. Spring ball practice ideas 2. Culture / team building 3. Leadership & captains 4. Offense (Fast N Wide / scheme) 5. Player accountability (tracking, discipline, OVR-type ideas) 6. Motivation / weekly messaging to players Or just tell me straight—what do you need?

@Randy Jackson @Coach A we had something similar to the 1-word challenge from Jon Gordon, where players had to come up with their word. We then posted their words with their names on a brick-background. The idea was to physically build a wall at the entrance of the field with all the words engraved on the real life bricks. That didn't materialise, but we pasted it on the wall in the change room (locker room). Before they stepped on the field the idea in our minds was our opponents must first break down our wall if they want to beat us. The strength of our words and belief in our words made it more difficult to breach our wall. The words on the pic (our wall): Optimistic Trust Passion (Passie) Stability Mentality Punctuality (Stiptelikheid) Attitude Discipline Extraordinary Courage Consistent Integrity Happiness Solidarity Persistence Effort Fearless Demolish Aggressive Commitment Boost Success Game Management Explosive
