We just hit 100 members. 🎉
When I created this community, I honestly had no idea if anyone would join. I remember looking at the member count every day. 2 members... 5 members... 17 members... wondering if I was building something people actually needed or if I was just talking to myself. Today, we crossed 100 members. I know 100 isn't a crazy number compared to some communities with thousands of people, but for me, it's a reminder that every big community starts with the first person who decides to believe in it. More importantly, it's not just 100 members. It's 100 people trying to build something for themselves. People publishing newsletters, getting their first subscribers, landing clients, asking questions, sharing wins, and helping each other. That's what makes this community worth showing up for. So thank you. Whether you've been here since the beginning or joined yesterday, I'm genuinely grateful you're here. That said, we're just getting started. I want this to become the best place on the internet to learn how to grow a newsletter, and that only happens if we keep improving together. So I'd love your honest feedback: - What's been the most valuable part of the community? - What should I improve? - What would you like to see more of? Every suggestion gets read. Also, over the next little while, I'm opening a few newsletter audit calls where I'll personally look at your newsletter, growth strategy, and give you personalized feedback on what I'd focus on next. If you're interested, just comment: Audit I'll send you all the details in DM so check your message :). Here's to the first 100. Now let's build something even bigger together. 🚀

Congrats, Félicitations!
So Close to 100 Members... I Need Your Help ❤️
Hey everyone! We're so close to reaching 100 members in the Newsletter Growth Lab, and honestly, that's something I never imagined when I started this community. First, thank you. Whether you've asked questions, shared wins, shown up to workshops, or simply read the posts, you've helped make this community what it is. I have one small favor to ask. If the Growth Lab has helped you over the last few weeks or months, would you consider sharing it with someone who could benefit from it too? It could be: - A writer who's struggling to grow their newsletter. - A friend who's just getting started on Substack. - A Note mentioning the community. - Or simply sharing it with your audience if you think it'd be valuable. The best communities grow through people who genuinely believe in them, and that means a lot more than any advertisement ever could. My goal is to build the best place on the internet for newsletter creators to learn, grow, and help each other. We're just getting started, and I'm excited for what's coming next. Thank you all for being here. Keep writing, keep experimenting, keep helping each other, and let's hit 100 together. ❤️

Sharing on Substack! (2 notes, 1 with your Substack profile, and 1 with this group)
We often celebrate the wins... but what about the hard moments?
One thing I love about this community is seeing people share their subscriber milestones, launches, and growth. But the truth is... Most of the real work happens during the moments nobody sees. For me, one of those moments happened around 750 subscribers. I launched my first product and... crickets. Almost no sales. Almost no feedback. I got one customer after a few weeks (which made me very happy 😄), but they didn't even go through the content. Then Christmas came around and I took a huge break from Substack. When I came back, it felt like I had lost everything. The momentum. The engagement. The connections. After putting so much effort into building, I was honestly discouraged. What helped me was going back to why I started in the first place: To build freedom. To be proud of myself. To use my time on something meaningful. To share my thoughts with people who cared. So I wrote an article about how I felt. Ironically, it got some of the best engagement I'd seen in a while. More importantly, I felt relieved. Since then, I've tried to build with less pressure and more enjoyment. And looking back, moments like that are part of the reason I'm still here today. My question for you: What's one difficult moment in your writing or creator journey that almost made you quit... but taught you something valuable in the end? 👇
