@Marcus Safar Hi Marc I noticed we're in the same community. I've been investing in property for quite a while, and I'm always interested in seeing how other investors think about finding and evaluating opportunities. What's your current investment strategy if you're open to having a quick chat ??
The wealthiest person in the room isn't always the one making the most money. Read that again.
That statement bothered me the first time I truly understood it. We've been conditioned to believe that earning more automatically means becoming wealthier. It doesn't. I've seen people with impressive incomes living paycheck to paycheck because every pound they earn is already spoken for. I've also seen people with far more modest incomes quietly build financial freedom because they spent years acquiring assets instead of liabilities. The difference isn't intelligence. It isn't luck. And it certainly isn't timing. It's the decisions made after the money is earned. One of the biggest mindset shifts I've ever had was realizing that income creates opportunities, but assets create options. Income pays today's bills. Assets pay tomorrow's lifestyle. The goal was never to work harder forever. The goal was to reach a point where your money, investments, and assets begin doing more work than you do. Imagine if every promotion, every profitable deal, every bonus, or every business win wasn't celebrated with a bigger lifestyle..but with the purchase of an asset that generated even more income. Now imagine repeating that decision consistently for the next 10 years. That's how wealth is built. Not overnight. Not through shortcuts. But through intentional decisions that compound long after the excitement of the next paycheck has faded. Here's something I think about often: Most people spend years increasing their income. Very few spend the same years increasing the number of assets that produce income without their daily involvement. That single difference changes the trajectory of an entire life. So I'm curious... If someone audited your finances today, would they conclude that you're building a lifestyle... or building a legacy?
