I want to shoot and edit 10 Reels/TikToks by Sunday and stay consistent on social media. I’ve been trying to finish all of my IDs before I start making new stuff, so I want to make real progress on one or two of them. I’m also announcing a huge show with Two Friends at the end of the week, so I need to stay locked in on promo content and push more fans to my Laylo.

LZRD & CharlieWonder - Wouldn't Wait For Me (Feat. Oaks)
Hey guys! I usually don’t send almost-finished tracks for feedback, but I’m really curious what you think of this one. A couple of people have said it sounds a little dated, so if you have any tips on how to take a more modern approach to this style, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks! https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/dsjydujlokcnqdbzpcipl/CharlieWonder-LZRD-Wouldn-t-Wait-For-Me-Feat.-Oaks-PREMASTER.wav?rlkey=g8mbo9zd2ggbn7g0lgum9rlh4&st=15ap889v&dl=0

@John Robertson What are your thoughts of a breakbeat? Audien does this in Make Me Forget and I jsut was refrencing that earlier when working on it. Could be dope but would love you opinion on that!

@John Robertson You are the best!
YouTube Content
I'm always looking for more producing content to learn and try new things. Curious if any of you have any recommendations on people or videos you guys watch on YouTube that you swear by and think would be helpful. Could be super basic/fundamental stuff or more niche production tips as well. Let me know!

Not sure what lane you’re in musically, but for me MHA’s stuff is so sick for that pop/prog vibe. He works in FL, and his videos aren’t super technical—more just him making music—but I’ve watched him for like 5 years, and I’ve definitely picked up a bunch of his techniques without even realizing it. Plus, his sample packs are actually insane. If you’re interested, I can drop you a Google Drive link. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzWjfItvltugt4S_CayTdDg/videos
CharlieWonder Intro
Whats up squad! I’m Charlie a 19-year-old producer out of Colorado. I started making music super early, inspired by the OG progressive house wave (Zedd / Martin Garrix type era). These days I’m mainly in the progressive + piano house lane, but I’m always experimenting and bouncing around different sounds too. I’m hyped to be here and meet more like-minded people. Collaboration + feedback has always been my favorite part of making music, so I’m excited to build that kind of vibe in this community 🙌

Who did you see in your first concert???
Listening to some music right now and got curious about what everyone's first concert was and how it inspired them. If you haven't been to a concert yet who do you want to see? Ill go first, my first concert ever was Jesse McCartney. Some of the younger guys might not remember this legend but when I was way younger my fam brought me to a charity concert he did at one of the highschools by us. I remember seeing him perform and wanting to be him so bad. To be completely honest I had no idea who he was at the time but still a concert I will never forget!

My first concert was Bruno Mars when I was around six, haha, but EDM-wise, it was Zedd with Audien at Red Rocks. What was so cool about that show is that it completely changed the way I think about creating. Seeing how people react when Zedd drops his biggest hits was insane, and it made me start thinking about crowd reaction while I’m making music — like, how is this going to feel in a room full of people? It also put me onto that mix of pop songwriting with progressive house energy, which I’ve been chasing ever since.
