Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for welcoming me into the group. It’s always good to connect with other veterans who understand the experiences, challenges, and lessons that come with serving. The military may have been a chapter of our lives, but the values, discipline, resilience, and brotherhood/sisterhood stay with us long after the uniform comes off. Looking forward to learning from everyone here, sharing experiences, and supporting one another however I can. One question for you all! What branch did you serve in and what was your MOS? How many countries did you visit while in the military? For me, at least 8. It was awesome to be able to do that. I love to travel!

Does anyone else like the Avatar movies? They are sort of military but have a lot of different things in them. I like seeing the military parts of the show. The futuristic part of it is interesting too.

Has anyone seen the latest Army movie ‘War Machine’? I did and loved it. Do you know anyone who went through Ranger school? I do.

What do you miss the most from being in the military? What are you glad you left behind? I miss being able to take the space A flights. I don’t miss the guard duty at night. What do you miss?
