I would change the attitude towards those who come in without land or have bad credit. Bottom line is that they are already in the mindset that they can't afford a "real house" and they are often times already in a financial bind...I wish we made this more of a one stop shop to better their lives by offering credit repair in house...down payment assistance maybe...or even had retail lots that had their own contracting company and not venders so that we could keep costs lower for utility work and not price people out of homes because they need 25-40k in improvements. I wish we could take every applicant and give them hope without judgment and show respect despite circumstances. Be a light in their dark tunnel.
