Do you wait until January to start new things?
I used to but stopped years ago. Why? Because the weather is awful, bugs are going round and my plans in January often get pushed back. This year has been a prime example. We’ve been snowed in since Jan 1st. It’s looking like it may thaw tomorrow. But that’s 11 days of January wasted. We’ve spent most of the time tripping over each other stuck at home. Trying to homeschool again as schools were closed last week. And trekking in the snow to the local shop on a daily basis only to discover the staples have sold out or not been delivered. I’m so glad that when I was gifted a 5 year journal in October by @Jo Simpson I started it there and then and didn’t wait until Jan 1st. Otherwise I would have stopped using it already because these last 10 days have been like Groundhog Day. Anyway. I’m doing things all year and not waiting for January, how about you?

As someone with Seasonal Affective Disorder January is a terrible time to start over. Mostly because the first grey day I break my resolutions. So I usually wait until the Spring Solstice to make new resolutions. Having said that I did make one this January which I have so far kept. And that is switching my grande coffees to tall. Hopefully that will cut down some of the calories..
Happy Christmas Eve 🎄
I may be running a planning challenge in a couple of days but these next few days are also about relaxing. What are you up to today? I will get dressed soon as I have to make a pavlova (at my niece’s request) it’s her Christmas dessert of choice. My son loves it too, but my niece makes a big deal of asking me to make it every year. Also have to do yet more tidying and walk the dog.

I'm slowly organising my PLR and updating passwords today, and got done most of my food prep for tomorrow.
What’s it like wheee you are today?
I’m first up and showered. It’s 8.45 and still dark. But it starts getting lighter from today (yesterday was the winter solstice) 🎉🎉 Yes I took this photo right now. Share a pic of what you’re up to today.

Cold and wet here in BC. Last week my little town got hit with an atmospheric river causing floods, and 100km winds. Just thankful that our valley escaped the worst.
Introduce yourself and your business
Share what you do and I’ll share some ways that you could use Notion (making a lot of assumptions about how you might run things). But it’s just for fun and you can even share a link to your biz today if you like.

I support and educate those with Seasonal Affective Disorder. "At Growing by Degrees, I’m here to help you through winter’s highs and lows and the challenges of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) through sharing honest stories, useful tips, and supporting each other." I currently have a group on Facebook but that's about it.
Databases and dashboards follow up
Ok, I'm working on a demo system for an event I'm at on Thursday and I was at the stage where I have to tidy up my backend databases and think about how I want the dashboard to look so I recorded this video to show the different ways you can set up you databases and views in your dashboard. Hopefully this makes sense!

@Amy Hardie Thanks, finally got some uninterrupted time to watch. I think that linking the databases to a dashboard might be the way to go. I've been trying to link databases together so that information from two could be added to one page but I think I have managed to figure that out with relationships. Thank you!
