A Guide To Resizing Your Poster Files
Hey guys, Just thought I'd make a more in depth video on how to correctly resize your poster files! We have now added it so in the portal, a warning message pops up when you upload the incorrect poster size. This is something very important to get right, as otherwise cropping will occur and your file will not look how you would like it to. If you're newer to selling posters, give this video a watch for a full explanation on what you need to do when it comes to resizing your artwork. Again, we recommend designing all of your posters in the A format, and redesigning at the point of sale. Otherwise it is a lot of upfront work!

Hi everyone, When adding different size variations, do you create a new file name and SKU for each size variation (e.g. ABC-Print-8x10 - to cover 8x10 and 16x20)? I’m assuming that’s the right approach so files don’t overwrite each other, but just wanted to check I’ve got that right. Thanks in advance. 😊

@Mihai Volintiriu Thanks for your help – I’m happy to add additional sizes. I just wanted to check how you name your files for different sizes, as I don’t want them to overwrite my A-size file (currently named by SKU). I’ve just rewatched Tom’s video and it looks like the file name might not matter for additional sizes, as he drags in an untitled file. Am I right in thinking the main file name needs the SKU, and any additional files are grouped under that SKU regardless of their file names?
We just hit 100,000 orders on PrintShrimp 🎉
Wow - can't believe I am writing this! Two of us started PrintShrimp about 18 months ago with no idea what we were doing, limited savings to live off, and a dream. Some of you may remember the days before we had an order portal - we literally accepted orders only via email for the first 6 months! We made an Instagram post to tell the story of how we got here, take a look :) https://www.instagram.com/p/DV_C73ZDAmH/?img_index=1 Don't let anyone tell you Etsy is too saturated - these 100,000 orders literally came from YOU guys! Feel free to take a look at the post and drop us a follow if you haven't already. THANK YOU to all of you for using PrintShrimp. This has been the best journey ever and we feel like we are just getting started 🙏 Love to you all! ❤️

Changing the “Hey [Name]!” greeting for different shops
Hi everyone, quick question. I have two shops and accidentally uploaded a batch of posters to the wrong one on PrintShrimp. I guess it’s easy enough to delete them, but I wondered if there’s a way to change the greeting at the top where it says “Hey [Name]!” so I can easily see which shop I’m in. Does anyone know if it’s possible to edit the name that appears there so it matches the correct shop? Thanks in advance 🙂
