Beans, all kinds! I make different soups and curries with different kinds of beans. Some have meat, some don't, which is good for when I'm feeding a crowd. High fiber, so filling, and cheap.
Balsamic-glazed pot roast tonight. Serving over plain baked potato even the recipe suggested orzo and we usually go with (buttery) mashed potatoes for pot roast. It will be fine because it's saucy, the sauce will drench the potato. Waiting (not terribly patiently!) for it to finish. No energy to make a salad this Friday night but had plenty of greens yesterday. No pics.
