Hi everyone, I'm Matthew Haussmann, a Canadian-Australian Indigenous trauma therapist and life coach specializing in healing generational and family trauma. My ancestry connects me to the Haida and Stó:lō Nations (Old Massett Village and Matsqui Village) as well as Australian, German, Polish, Scottish, and English roots. I was born and raised on the unceded traditional territories of the Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, in the city known as Victoria, BC. I help people release lifelong negative core beliefs, painful memories, generational wounds, compulsive behaviors, sensitivities, chronic pain, and self-criticism. My practice integrates modalities like Whole-hearted Healing, Peak States Therapy, and Subcellular Psychobiology, alongside Daoist and Buddhist wisdom traditions, and modern mindfulness and spiritual goal-setting practices. I work on a Pay-for-Results model, where clients only pay once their transformation is achieved and verified. I’m also a musician (beatboxer and singer under the name ORAVIBE), a facilitator of Dao wisdom study groups, and poet. I occasionally do freelance audio and audio-visual tech work, and run beatboxing workshops. I've been a part of men's work since my first circle in 2017, and I am currently a member of ARKA Brotherhood. I'm currently reading the Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino, and Taking the Path of Zen by Robert Aiken Roshi!
