Marketing my Podcast?
How do I market my podcast? What does that look like? Now that I’ve got a few under my belt I need to publicize it for subscribers, etc. Specific workflow/templates and specific marketing steps to do this would be great.

TODAY Speaking Engagement and Opportunity
All - sharing speaking opportunities. I'm doing a webinar with The Black Directory TODAY. at 10am Register at https://www.largestblackdirectory.com/members-911135. Their program "Power Stages' is available for members to speak to the membership. Yes it's an investment, but they do A TON of promotion for your webinar. See attached for what they sent out on mine yesterday (there has been 1 a week for a month across their platform). And in case you need guidance, they also give you an outline for your webinar that includes the timing for promoting your package multiple times - so they know and expect you're going to promote your own services. I'll let everyone guys know how it goes (and maybe I'll see you there).

Speaking @ AICPA (Association of International Professional Accountants) conference today
I'm speaking at AICPA NFP Conference today on PAC funding rules — yes, even accountants need a translator for this one. 👀. THANKS @Taurea Avant I went to IT this morning and also to the org and confirmed I could put my tripod up and record. Also requested they send me the recording (and got the name of the person responsible so I can follow up.)

Total in person approx. 125ppl, online another 800+. Had 7 people approach me after presenting. Then went to reception after, 4 more people 👍. Then in the hallway had moderator from AICPA corner me "you're good at this, I can tell this is your sweet spot, presenting and speaking'. So locked down I'm going to be on their speaker circuit 🙌. Only problem. I don't eat/drink before speaking (this is my habit, just running through stuff in my head) and I went right to reception after and went to the open bar for my usual 🤭 (Jack, neat). I'm now laughing that this was not one of my smartest decisions. 😂 Anyway - I do have the recording and will be clipping it up for social media. Going to sleep now (yes, it's appropriate to laugh at me - that's why I love this community - we can be real about what this really looks like)

Day 3 of the conference and just met the chair of AICPA Events and Conference (we've met on zoom, but not in person). He congratulated me and said "I can't officially tell you, but you are definitely invited to be back and be on our speaker circuit". For an accountant, he showed excitement and emotion. 🤭
