A Lifetime Win!
Hey y’all! This came up in my memories today. Its from 2021. The fact that before my Daddy left the earth in 2022 he got to hear and see me unveil and unbox Click To Cash is so key to me. I didn’t have to wonder if he was proud of me. He ALWAYS told me! Yalllllllll! Now Click To Cash is a whole trademarked movement. This book was my 24th book. Thank you to @Taurea Avant for helping me to birth this one and also Click To Cash Volume 2 and Click To Cash Volume 3.

God is Amazing.
My wins: Waking up this morning. Landing my FINAL interview for my book — a project that now features over 20 award-winning directors, producers, actors, and writers, from actress Yolonda Ross from The Chi, to the Director of Photography of the Diddy documentary, to the heads of the film offices in Chicago, New York, and Atlanta. I’ve been writing this book and conducting interviews for a year now. There have been ups and downs, but God told me to take my time, and I’m grateful I listened. I’ve worked in TV and film for 10+ years, and for a long time, I think I would shrunk myself because I didn’t want too much attention. Sometimes being connected to certain people doesn’t always bring the right energy. But through this process, I’ve learned that it’s okay to shine, okay to help people, and okay to be vulnerable. Last year, I told Taurea the book was “80% done,” and she said, “Child, that book is done” lol. At the time, I honestly didn’t know what more I wanted. But as time passed, that other 20% came with even better interviews, deeper conversations, and more clarity. Now I finally feel like I’m good on interviews lol which is a HUGE win for me. And more than anything, the biggest win of all is my mindset — purpose-driven work, trusting God’s timing, and continuing to move forward despite life’s hiccups. I can finally admit that I’m there mentally, physically, and spiritually. Maybe part of me wanted more. Maybe part of me was subconsciously afraid to finish. But now, I know: It’s done.

👀 This Is Why Authors Need To Be Seen
Y’all!!! Look what popped up in a Skool ad 👀🔥 The Permission Slip Club was featured inside a Skool advertisement and I just think this is SUCH a powerful reminder that visibility matters. Sometimes you don’t even realize who is watching your consistency, your community, your message, and your movement. This is why I’m always talking about showing up, sharing what you know, and allowing yourself to be seen. A lot of people want the opportunities while hiding at the same time. Visibility creates possibilities. This was definitely a cool moment to see 🩷 What’s a recent visibility win you’ve had lately? Big or small, drop it below 👇
