Hello beautiful community, As promised, here is one of my favorite practices a practice I return to whenever I need to release tension, reconnect with myself, and come back into my body. Before we begin, a gentle reminder: this practice is an invitation, not a requirement. Please always listen to your body, move in a way that feels supportive for you, and pause or modify whenever you need to. If you have any physical concerns or injuries, adapt the practice accordingly or seek guidance from a qualified professional. I invite you to practice this during the week, or anytime you feel the need to reconnect, release, and create more space for your own wellbeing. Take this time for yourself. Listen to your body. Create space to nourish yourself, slow down, and come home to yourself. This is my go-to practice whenever I need to release tension and come back to myself. Especially during these long, hot summer days, when the heat feels heavy and my body tends to hold onto tension from the physical demands of everyday life. This practice is a simple way to reset, to move what feels stuck, and to reconnect with my body. Let's begin. Shaking Stand with your feet about hip-width apart and soften your knees. Start with a gentle bounce, allowing the movement to slowly travel through your whole body. Relax your shoulders. Relax your jaw. Let your arms move freely. There is no right or wrong way to do this. Simply allow your body to shake. Let go of the tension you’ve been holding. The stress. The heaviness. The energy that no longer needs to stay. Keep breathing. Allow your body to find its own rhythm. Stay with the shaking for two to seven minutes, giving your body the space to release tension, move stagnant energy, and reconnect with itself. ... Butterfly hug at the wall: When you feel ready, slowly come to a wall and let your back rest against it. Feel the support behind you. Allow yourself to be held. For a moment, you don’t have to carry everything. You don’t have to hold yourself up.
