if you don't have a generator, get one

@Travis Sago I've got a duel fuel generator w/ a quick connect o my 1k gallon propane tank. Remote start, transfer switch on my breaker panel. mainly use it for keeping the food cold and the well pump running when power goes out.

We try to travel with the kids during summer break as much as we can. This year we did some camping trips along the Eastern Sierra and California coast, plus hit up Utah, Disneyland, and Nevada. I know we're really lucky to do these trips, but it still bugs me how much I have to rely on getting time off approved rather than just having the freedom to go when we want. I'm fully aware that I'm just another replaceable cog in the machine. My pay is pretty capped as well and we'd like to start doing more international travel.
