How much time do you devote to writing?
Is writing something you do in your free time, or do you have a set time in your schedule that you use to write? Lately I've been working up to 70 hours a week. That leaves me with little to no time to actually sit down and write, so I mostly just write where I have a little time.

In my free time, so the exact time spand differs from day to day. But if I have time that isn't already blocked off, it's writing time. I always try to bring a notebook with me when out of the house so I can scribble notes in my downtime.
What mediums are people here using?
I was curious what artistic medium people here were conveying their worlds in? I personally I've been creating worlds and stories in my head since I can remember but I've never really found a way to get them out of my head. At the moment I'm giving writing a go and working on Helm Knights (I may change the name later). How is everyone else sharing their worlds or are other people also struggling to find a medium that works for them?

Google Docs (for writing), MediaWiki (for keep track of lore), and when without laptop access paper and pen.
The Name(s) of Magic
This post has been doing numbers on reddit so I thought I'd share with the class. What is the name of your magic? Do you use some sort of magical energy in it? What is its name? If not "Mana", why not?

1) The character and I just call it magic. 2) Not really. Magic more like is the 5th element so it is technically tangible. 3) Mana sounds to D&D/WoW to me. Not the vibe I was going for.
Daily Challenge - "Forbidden Book"
In your world, there’s a book so dangerous it’s been banned, hidden, or locked away. What’s inside it, who wrote it, and why is it forbidden?

In my world there isn't forbidden magic so much as unfairly stereotyped and highly discouraged magic. It would probablybe a book researching ancient magic (like long before written history) or a book that holds magical techniques easily utilized in criminal ways.
What type of transportation is most common in your world?
Cars, planes, airships, carts? Do people crowd ports, or are they stuck walking? If there is technology in the transportation, what type? I just wanted to see what you'd come up with.
