Love this! Really shows why we don’t need to focus on the past and instead the future with God.

I watched my sermon today since the roads were pretty bad here in Cleveland. Today’s was about the sabbath day and the significance it has in our busy lives when it should be a day to just stop and think. Everyone’s sabbath day may look different but has a meaningful effect. It does not just have to be rest but can also be doing activities you enjoy doing like going for a walk, playing video games, napping, lifting, etc. It is also a day to study God’s word and take a little dive into your Bible.

Really enjoyed reading today’s teaching and I am a firm believer in this. I also look at this and how my father and mother raised me. Watching me from afar while I did things on my own but knew they were by my side the whole time.

Hi Jaedyn and welcome! I wish I could play the guitar too but I have very little musical talent. I did take a beginner piano class once but that’s about it.

My takeaway from today’s teaching is how easy and quick temptations are. The reason I do the things I’m not supposed to is because it’s an easy dopamine burst I can get. For example, drinking too much when I know I should have only had one or two drinks. I wanted to have a great time and drink a lot more when I know I shouldn’t have. I was thinking in the short term and not the long term of eternity by following God’s word by not falling into drunkenness.
