Just had a dispatcher from Curri hit me with a run: 📍 Lynchburg → Winchester 📦 ~173 miles 💵 Initial offer: $173.50 I countered at $350. They came back with: ➡️ $200 ➡️ $250 ➡️ $300 I respectfully declined each time. Then guess what happened… 💥 They came up to $337.50 Lesson here 👇 Most people would’ve accepted that first offer without thinking. But in this industry: - You have to factor in fuel ⛽ - Wear & tear 🚗 - Time ⏱️ - Deadhead miles (getting back) If it doesn’t make sense… it doesn’t make sense. Real talk 💯 Negotiation is part of the game. These apps will test you to see what you’ll accept. If you move too fast, you’ll stay underpaid. If you stand firm (respectfully), you’ll start seeing better numbers. Question for y’all 👇 Would you have taken the $173.50? Or held out like I did? Let’s talk about it.
