⏳ 6 Weeks to Go… Let’s Use Them Wisely
We are now just 6 weeks away from the GCSE English Literature Paper 1 exam. This is the point where small, consistent effort can make a huge difference to final grades. The truth: You don’t need hours and hours of revision. You need little and often. 👉 20 minutes a day 👉 4–5 times per week That’s it. Done consistently, this builds knowledge, confidence and exam readiness. 🎯 What should students be doing? ✔️ Retrieval practice: Learn and recall key quotes from memory Don’t just read them — test yourself ✔️ Practising exam questions: Apply knowledge in timed conditions Get familiar with how questions are worded ✔️ Acting on feedback: This is where the real progress happens Understanding how to improve = higher grades ⚠️ What NOT to do: • Don’t leave it until the night before • Don’t just reread notes • Don’t rely on “I’ll remember it” Start now, thank yourself later The students who improve the most over the next 6 weeks are not the ones doing the most… They are the ones doing the right things consistently. Parents, a small nudge to get started can make all the difference. Students, comment below with: 📚 = I’ve started ⏳ = Starting this week Let’s make these next 6 weeks count 💪

Everything is fine.” 😅 🔥Hoping the exact question I revised comes up D) “We go again in the resit.” 💀 Be honest… drop your answer below 👇 (No judgement — we’ve all been there 😄) If there's anything you feel that we can help with, we would love to know that too so please type in the comments below 👇 We are here to help so ask away! 📚 Want Your Child to Actually Remember Quotes?
Most students recognise quotes… but can’t recall them in the exam. That’s the problem. So I’ve created something different 👇 🎯 Dual-coded quote sheets for: • A Christmas Carol • Macbeth • An Inspector Calls • Power and Conflict Poetry These combine visuals + key quotes to help students remember faster and recall under pressure. 💡 Why this works: Students remember images + words together far more effectively than just reading notes. 🎁 I’m giving these away FREE, but you need to complete 2 steps: 1️⃣ Comment below with: Which texts your child is studying (e.g. Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, Jekyll and Hyde) AND one word describing how they currently feel about English (e.g. “stressed” / “confident”) 2️⃣ Like this post 👍 I’ll then send the resources directly to you. Let’s make revision easier AND more effective 👇

Who's studying AQA Love and Relationships or AQA Power and Conflict Poetry?
💬 Is your child studying Poetry this term? I’ve created a FREE quote sheet featuring key quotes to remember from each poem. 📌 No explanations — just the quotes. One clear page to keep things simple. Two quick steps to grab it: ✅ Step 1: Like this post ✅ Step 2: Comment “love!” or "Conflict!" and I’ll message it to you on Skool 😊

Important Update: Focused Weekly English Language Lesson (Sunday 5-6pm)
As we move closer to the GCSE exam period, we have been reviewing our live lesson schedule to ensure we are delivering the most effective and impactful support for students. Over recent months, we have been offering multiple live lessons each week, however due to lower attendance across the midweek sessions, we have made the decision to move to one highly focused live lesson each week on Sundays which will be dedicated entirely to GCSE English Language. This allows us to concentrate our time and energy into delivering one powerful, high quality session each week that focuses on the skills students need most in the final months before their exams. These Sunday sessions will focus on: • How to analyse unseen extracts effectively • How to structure Grade 7–9 responses • Creative and transactional writing skills • Exam technique and examiner expectations • Building confidence ahead of the real exams English Language is one of the subjects where students can make significant improvements in a relatively short period of time, but this comes from practising the right skills consistently. With only a few months remaining, this weekly session provides an excellent opportunity for students to strengthen their skills, build confidence and prepare effectively for their GCSE exams. Students who attend regularly between now and the exams will be in a much stronger position than those who do not. I strongly encourage students to take advantage of these sessions and commit to attending weekly. Please comment below if your child will be joining this Sunday’s lesson. It'll be great to see as many of you there as possible 😊
