Hey! Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of someone who could help me better understand the tax and business side of private practice? Someone offering consultations. I have a few questions specifically related to practicing across state lines, including foreign entity registration and how operating in multiple states may impact my business and taxes. I just wanted to update you all on my first session on Headway. I was having anxiety about something going wrong, like with my computer........well, it did. My microphone would not work. But I logged in on my phone and completed the session. She's booking with me again for next week. ❤️ Positive vibes only from now on. 😂😂😂

Hey family. I've got my first client scheduled for this Thursday on Headway. I am so excited but just a bit nervous. Once this first one is out of the way, I'll be ok. I'm having general anxiety about something not going right 😂 such as my computer dying during the session, etc 😅. I know everything will be ok and I am claiming that, but the general anxiety still exists. OAN: I have gotten certified for telehealth in S. Carolina; applied for licensure in Georgia; and applied for telehealth in Canada. I've solidified the name of my business and I'm working on getting someone to help build the website. I've also ordered some marketing materials. I am the only LCSW in my area so I am hoping that I will be able to open a storefront really soon.

I have so many people to reach out to and say, "I'm scared to use it. I don't know how to use it." I'm letting you know right now: if you're a business owner and you don't know how to use AI, you're going to fall behind. It's going to be almost impossible to scale and get your business seen. Hi everyone! I've been hanging in the background since I stumbled into the group a few months ago. I am a LPC in PA. I have my NPI, EIN and website for my solo practice all set. I've tested a few EHRs and updated CAQH (I was formerly in a group practice so that wasn't too difficult). I work FT now as a Triage Counselor (EAP), launching my practice slowly. I'm currently navigating the virtual address search to get credentialed with insurances. I initially set the business up under home address (BIG mistake, must correct).
