Update.

Whats going on Elite Community, I wanted to give everyone an update. As of now I will be submitting my first contact to be paid my rate of $150 per session (they accepted this rate with no issues). Also, today I was contacted by an EAP to for a Six session contract for $100 per 45 minute session with a client who requested me and they told me that I had room for negotiating. So I told them I'm ready to take this case for $120 per session. Fingers Cross lol. Team keep pushing towards your goals Team. HOW IS EVERYONE DOING?

Hey Dante!! I haven't heard from you in a while, but thanks so much for the update. I appreciate it because I was wondering how things are going. I just got busy, so I didn't get a chance to give you a call. Absolutely amazing. That's what it's all about: negotiating your rate and knowing your worth. Keep up the great work.

❓ Ask a Business Question

Group Practice Question

I’m a LMFT in WA state and I wanted to know your thoughts on setting up a group practice right away. I am currently set up as a solo practitioner and have been for 2 years. I’m bouncing therapy and other employment. Eventually, I’d like to just do therapy work but no more than 15 clients/week. WA does allow for associates to set up their own practice but it doesn’t mean that they will .. so I wanted to know your thoughts on building a practice with associates and since I’m not a supervisor just yet, hire one.

I always suggest starting solo, perfect that then gradually add people. Starting a practice as a resident/associate is hard and normally not financially beneficial as you will be paying a license person to do all the work. It can be done, its just an easier way if you could wait to be independently licensed.
