🎉 Big Update: Elite Collective is NOW FREE! 🎉
Hi everyone! After giving it a lot of thought, I've decided to make this community membership completely FREE to join. 💜 I realized I didn't want cost to be the reason someone couldn't be part of a community of like-minded professionals who are building, growing, and dreaming bigger. This community is designed to be a place where we can: ✨ Connect with other social workers and entrepreneurs ✨ Learn from one another ✨ Share wins, challenges, and ideas ✨ Get encouragement and accountability as we build successful practices and businesses If you're looking for more in-depth training, templates, or structured courses, those will continue to be available in the Classroom for anyone who wants them—but there is absolutely no obligation to purchase anything to be part of this community. As for me, I won't be providing ongoing coaching on a regular basis inside the community. However, you'll definitely see me popping in to answer questions, share insights, celebrate your wins, and provide guidance along the way. We're also planning some exciting opportunities in the future, including business boot camps, special trainings, and other resources to help you grow both personally and professionally. I'm excited to build something special with all of you. Welcome to The Elite Collective—let's grow together! 🚀💜. Share with anyone that may benefit from this support!
Check in....... meeting?!?!!
Hey everybody! It's been kinda quiet up in here in this community. Are we getting businesses going and growing or what? Tap in and let me know where you're at, what's going on, what you need help and guidance on, and let me know if this Sunday works to meet with everyone. I know the last few meetings hardly anyone showed, so I wanna see what days and time works best for everyone. .
GROUP NPI
Step 1: Log Into NPPES Go to the official NPPES website: NPPES Login Portalhttps://nppes.cms.hhs.gov Log in using your personal Identity & Access Management, also known as I&A, credentials. Step 2: Start a New NPI Application From the dashboard, select: Apply for an NPI for an Organization Then choose: Type 2 — Organization NPI A group practice, LLC, PLLC, corporation, clinic, or agency receives a Type 2 NPI. Step 3: Select Your Relationship When asked your relationship to the organization, choose: “I am an employee of the provider.” This is normal even if you are the owner, CEO, founder, or managing member of the business. Step 4: Enter Legal Business Information Use the exact information from your IRS records. You will need: - Legal Business Name - EIN, also known as Employer Identification Number - Business structure information Make sure your business name matches your IRS EIN confirmation letter exactly, such as your CP575 letter. Do not use a nickname, brand name, or shortened version unless that is legally registered and required. Step 5: Answer the Subpart Question Most private practices should answer: No You would usually only answer yes if your location is a separately identifiable branch or component of a larger organization that requires its own NPI. For most mental health private practices, one group NPI is enough. Step 6: Enter Your Addresses You will need to provide: - Business mailing address - Physical practice location These can be the same if appropriate. Make sure the information is accurate because this may later connect to credentialing, insurance panels, billing, and payer enrollment. Step 7: Select Your Taxonomy Code Choose the taxonomy code that best matches your group’s services. Common options for mental health practices include: Community/Behavioral Health Organization251S00000X Mental Health Clinic/Center261QM0801X Multi-Specialty Clinic/Group Practice261QM1300X

GROUP NPI
Question
Good morning, regarding my NPI number. Do I need to change it to Group Practice if I am contracting another provider? I searched for a way to change status but I could not find it.

You don't change status. You need to apply for a group NPI: https://nppes.cms.hhs.gov Yes, I have someone that can do credentialing but with Texas you need to apply for Medicaid and Medicare first You can likely do that yourself. to save money and then have them help with the thousand others. @Lorena Quintana Gallion

I believe this could be the wave of the future when it comes to referrals, as I get plenty of referrals from colleagues. So far I enjoy scrollingthroughthis platform seeing Clinicians refer clients. Check this video out.
