Can your personality preference be at odds with your correct color result (or vice versa)?
A question came up in conversation recently that is a perfect topic for this group. The argument, roughly: certain personality types will struggle to wear their correct color result, even if the determination is objectively right for their coloring. An INTP who is a Bright Spring will resist it because bright and warm reads as drawing attention, and drawing attention is not the goal. The flip side also came up: an extroverted, expressive type stuck with a muted, cool result may find it just as hard to embrace. It's a genuinely interesting claim. Where do you land on it? Also — we have some new members who joined this week. Welcome to everyone who just found their way here. Drop your type and color result in the data thread (https://www.skool.com/the-color-typology-lab-7535/personality-type-color-season-building-the-data-set?p=4adeff77) if you haven't already, and jump in wherever something catches your attention.

Yeah, and this is why we shouldn't let any analysis or system be the whole story - our personal leanings and loves are most important, and if people don't like their colour season, then don't wear it! Tools not Rules 🛠️ Personally, I do like a lot of my Summer colours, but if I feel like wearing orange on a sunny day, I will lol. Also, there's more than one way to do 'style', not everything has to be harmonious to look good or make a statement - some styles are specifically the opposite of that, for example, punk and alternative fashion. And some styles are very well defined as a certain look like vintage or old hollywood glam. There's a 100 ways to look good/have your style, without looking like a perfectly harmonious natural look.

Also, I just absolutely love all the colours, so I can't imagine a world where I am banned from any of them... sure, I can choose harmony one day, and another day I might just really fancy wearing deep lime green because it's a stunning colour! (just bought this top for an event because what a lush tropical, verdant green!!)
Neurodiversity & Personality Tests
Hello, this is a super interesting idea, does anyone know which personality tests are good for ND folk? and I can do for free online? I have had various colour consults, and I'm a trained consultant myself, though not currently practising other than friends/family or in groups for free lol (I'm actually a full-time engineer, but it's my hobby). I identify most with Deep & Soft Summer, though have been categorised as Soft Summer, borderline soft summer/true summer, and deep summer in various systems. I have ADHD diagnosed and also suspected but not diagnosed autism, and I'd be interested to see if any of these personality tests were inclusive or only designed for neurotypical folks.
