Noah’s Ark of Unseen Safety
Noah spent decades building an ark on dry land for a storm no one else believed was coming, proving his faith during the long days of quiet labor. We walk in his footsteps when we obey the Lord’s promptings to prepare or change direction, even when the immediate reason is hidden from us. Want to dive deeper into these daily reflections? Grab your copy of the Daily Joy Journal today, and let's practice listening to the Lord's guidance one day at a time!

Thanks, Laura. The story of Noah is indeed a beautiful example of trust in God. Noah reminds us that we don't always need to understand the reason behind God's guidance in order to follow it. ❤️🙏
Abel’s Heart of Excellence
The difference between Cain and Abel wasn't the sacrifice itself, but the condition of their hearts. Abel gave his absolute best "firstlings" upfront, overcoming the mortal fear that giving to God leaves us with too little. We walk in faith when we offer our prime focus and energy instead of our exhausted leftover scraps. Ready to sink deeper into this bedrock reality? Join us in the Daily Joy Journal, where we take these daily reflections a step further to unpack God's promises and find true assurance together!

Thank you, Laura. As I reflect on this, I believe that giving our best to God and others doesn't require reminders or perfect effort. I think that When we are internally aligned and walking in faith, giving our best becomes natural. From that place, our offerings come genuinely from the heart, and give God our true best. ❤️🙏
Sharing the Oil (And Why We Can't)
When the midnight cry came in the parable of the ten virgins, the wise couldn't share their oil—not out of selfishness, but because you simply cannot outsource or copy-and-paste a relationship with God. We have to "buy" our own oil through our own private time, raw gratitude, and personal devotion. Don't just watch—build your own reservoir of joy. Join The Daily Joy Journal today and fill your lamp every morning!

Thanks, Laura. I agree with you, and I would add that simply observing our lives and taking time to reflect on those observations can be a beautiful place to begin. Sometimes our inner thoughts reveal what God may be trying to teach us. By the way, where can I find the Daily Joy Journal? ❤️
What is the purpose of extra oil?
We don't fill our spiritual reservoirs overnight; endurance is built one tiny drop at a time through daily praise, gratitude, and kindness. Connecting with God in calm seasons stores up the "extra oil" you’ll need for the future. Stop surviving on an empty tank. Learn the daily micro-habits that fill your lamp every single morning inside The Daily Joy Journal today!

I love the topic of extra oil. For me, it comes from small things, gratitude, time with my family, prayer, and moments of quietness. I believe God fills our lamps one drop at a time, through ordinary moments we might otherwise overlook. ❤️

@Todd Thelin Thank you for sharing. I appreciate your perspective and the importance of actively gathering oil through love and service. Perhaps I see it as a partnership: God provides the opportunities and the grace, and we respond by cultivating gratitude, prayer, and actions. ❤️
The Small Moments We Forget to Celebrate
Today, while running errands, I found myself enjoying the simple act of walking outside. It reminded me of something I often take for granted: freedom. The freedom to go where I want, move my body, breathe fresh air, and simply be. Sometimes joy isn't found in big achievements but in ordinary moments, a coffee, a conversation, a quiet walk, a child laughing. 🌺What small moment brought you joy this week?
