Wow, it was cool to meet up with other Skoolers at Skillet & Vine near the Arboretum! Great meeting @Allan R. @Aaron Jokela & @Lori Lopez -- despite all the noise from the Blue Angels airshow. We planned an hour and went longer in a wide-ranging convo about Skool strategies, what makes a community a must-join, family life and work/life juggling... and so much more. Expect a poll shortly on what/when/where we will meet next. And... in the meanwhile, recruit more Seattle peers into this group! I know there must be MANY more Seattleites on Skool.

Hey Seattle peeps! I'm the new mayor in town... and I see there's no post where people can introduce themselves, make connections and collabs happen! So THIS is that post. I'll start: I built and sold a paid community for life-changing money (2011-21), before Skool. That's right, I'm a community dinosaur! Now, I run Community Growth Academy, where you get the proven 7-step system I used to launch my first community to 100 members off the bat. I'm also opening Sell Your Skool, where high-MRR founders learn how to think like a buyer in order to get a big payday in their exit. Chance to learn from my mistakes on that one, as I could have gotten more. And in my 'free' time, I ghostwrite books for thought leaders. I started my career in journalism and then freelance writing - my first community was for freelance writers. Yes, I have totally flunked retirement! Though we ARE traveling full time in our RV for 2 years now. I like contributing and making a difference in this world.
