My first Gextron trade
When the week started, I had a bias as towards market direction. I logged into Gextron and loaded up SPY and looked for a weekly set of levels. With levels in hand, I placed a put trade with a starter position. I added to the position on Tuesday. I said it could tell cancel order that included a stop loss as well as a take profit for half the position. using the GEX level for the profit. When I saw the premarket activity, I moved my stop loss up as I was expecting the first take profit to hit in the morning. Hit the first take profit for 270% shortly after the market opened. I moved the stop loss to a trailing stop Which got triggered shortly after for 250% on the balance. Thank you, @Ruben and Gextron

I would love the opportunity
3 Small Losses
- HIMS calls -20% loss ❌ - OSCR shares -1.21% ❌ - OSCR calls -4% ❌ Nothing massive, but enough to remind the key truth: August & September are historically tricky months in the market. These are times to preserve capital, stay sharp, and wait for high RvR setups. The goal is not to be right on every single trade. The goal is: - Keep losses small and controlled - Make sure the winners outweigh the losers - Stay consistent with the process so the edge plays out over time Flat days, red days, small wins, small losses are all part of the game.

This is a time to be picky with the trade you take. After all, not taking a trade is also a trading plan in which you can never lose and are always break even.
Not every trade has to be a winner
We traded SOUN today. This morning, we were up 10% on the trade. By the end of the day, it gave back all the profits, and we closed at -2%. Here’s how I look at it: When I take a trade, I’m not trying to be right every single time. My goal is to find trades where the reward is worth the risk. For SOUN, I still think it could hit $20–$25 long term, but some short-term signs broke down, so I had to exit. That’s part of my plan — I don’t sit and hope when things change. Think of it like baseball: You don’t need to hit a home run every time. You just need enough good swings to win the game. Some strikes happen, but the big hits cover the misses. Because of this: - My win rate will be lower since I cut trades when they break. - But the big winners cover the small losses over time. This trade? No big deal. We took the shot, it didn’t work, and now we move on to the next setup. Trading isn’t about being perfect. It’s about sticking to the plan and thinking long term.

I’m still in SOUN, but I’m in a contract that ended the day still ITM. I think that the market coaster is at the end of the chain to the top and is rounding over ready for the next leg down. Some bumps up, but many more legs down through the end of 2026. When 2026 ends, I think we see a 40% correction.

Bitcoin premium is incredibly high on MSTR. I like playing the bitcoin ETFs instead. IBIT, FBTC, GBTC, BITB, etc…
