I honestly used to think two things were true, that I needed to eat a certain amount of foods and that I had to eat a certain amount of meals and snacks (and a little gluttonous). I also used to be a BIG stress eater. Since January I have been only eating when hungry and paying attention to my emotions. I’m also working on my emotions by leaning into my faith and trusting that God is in control and that food is not an escape but a nourishing tool to sustain me; just like reading my Bible. I do enjoy sweets and treats but I’m not overdoing it anymore. More or less I’ve been working to heal my nervous system and take care of myself; filling my own cup so I can still pour into others. 😊

Boundary work has been a huge challenge my whole life but seeing it pay off in how my body feels and responds so much better now to the exercise I’ve been doing.

I am down 15 pounds since 1/1/26. I am 5’2 so I feel like this is BIG for me. Especially since I have not been in the gym for several weeks and still continued to lose weight.

I’m going to be honest. I’m not a good person to ask this. I’m always on the go so I don’t always eat the best. I love to move my body though - walking, dancing, running, and other activities. My nutrition is terrible. I think I’m hear to see what others are doing in this area. 😊
