The Gambler... 🃏
Classic song. Classic movie. Do you like to gamble? Or play it safe? Thanks for the reminder @Rose Colbourne

I used to like a flutter as we say in the UK. Only ever risked what I was willing to loose, but not had a bet for a long time. Won money on Danny Willett winning the Masters 2016 which allowed me to buy my first proper camera. I have used professional horse racing and football betting services many years ago, however I found you only really break even at best.
Shaolin vs. Wu Tang 📿
What is the difference? 🤔 Buddhism vs. Taoism External vs. Internal Apples vs. Oranges (ok that has nothing to do with it, lol) Here is the short of it. ENJOY. 🙏

@Jake Hill I was drawn to Aikido. I heard a tape series about geniuses and the creator was mentioned. I moved from the Midlands to Manchester and was taking a break from working, so sought out a local group to join.

@Jake Hill I enjoyed the community aspect and going to the pub after training. However with my photography/art projects I am drawn to Tai Chi and the hope to develop my own home based routines.
What does "Community" mean to you? 🤔
I needed a post for @Joseph Groom 's community, ⭐️The Skool Hub⭐️... Rather than "trying" to brainstorm something... Struggling and straining... I waited for something to come to me... Then I had a conversation with @Jack Robinson in his community, Skoolyard 🧃... The result was THIS POST about the meaning of wisdom... (There were some real gems shared by @Ahmy Brock 🙏)... But the conversation did not end there and the topic shifted to "community"... What does "community" mean? Today, by random coincidence of course (🤯)... I saw this video... (maybe it was sent by the cosmic community? 🤷‍♂️)... So what does community mean to you? 🤔

Community to me is finding people who you can communicate with freely, without judgement. People who provide support in your journey.
One or One Thousand 🌀
Help one person a lot... Or help one thousand people a little... But then... That one person might help one and so on... Until one thousand have been helped. Or that "little bit" you helped one thousand... May turn out to be a lot bigger than anyone thought. I think we've all heard people talk about mentors that have had a huge impact on them (which would be the first category)... But we've also heard people talk about how one small thing changed everything. You are making an impact on someone whether you know it or not... For better or for worse. 💯 If you can do more, do more... But also don't underestimate how a tiny seed can become an entire ecosystem.🌞 Don't forget that you have to fill your cup before you can pour into others... And in the process empty your cup so that you have room to receive more. Here is one of my favorite Ted Talks that I've shared many times. I'm not sure if it has made its way to you yet. One Love. 🙏

Added to my YouTube list to watch later. I think it is difficult to quantify help as big, or little, certainly as the provider, and depending on the recipient, some will heap praise, while others will still think it's not enough. If you help one person, you have helped one person. If you have helped one thousand people, you have helped one thousand people.

I watched it, very inspirational. Thank you Jake for sharing.
New to Tai Chi? ☯️ 🤷‍♂️
If you're new to Tai Chi... Have never practiced before... Or even if you're a seasoned veteran... Check out the Cloud Hands course in the classroom. #Got Plans? Floating In the Clouds 🌞 Paul Cavel is one of my favorite teachers. He's great at explaining things in a way that is digestible. I've taken many of his courses. Cloud Hands is a simple movement but in Tai Chi... There are always many layers of depth. ☁️ Start at the beginning... Dive right in. 🌀 Give it a go! Let us know how goes it... It might be just what you're looking for. Movement... Meditation... FLOW. 🌊 ENJOY. 🙏 (It's called "Playing" Tai Chi for a reason!) 😎

@Jake Hill the union of body and mind well being.

@Jake Hill I definitely don't move enough. Gratefully I have never had any illness in my life, but aware I need to be eating healthily, getting better sleep, etc. I am a very positive person and practice gratitude daily, but there is always room for improvement.
