It's finally finished! I couldnt be more proud!
My #rujuu... Zipped, fleece lined and hooded! This was a true labour of love which took patience, trust in myself to go off track and a lot of new techniques learned! My first ever steek Hand sewing.... a lot! Going off piste to do the hood whilst keeping in pattern Adjusting sizing to accommodate lining Using 7 different threads of various gauges and trying to get them to match Thank you so much @Zanete Hussain for the incredible pattern and the #myal 🥰🥰

Fantastic Rujuu! It looks amazing🥰🥰🥰🥰
Elza sweater first look
Almost done with part A of the Elza sweater. Loving the pastel colors. I went up a needle size half way through and I still might be too tight.

A Change of plans for the MYAL Virtual Fashion Show
Hello my lovely MYAL knitters 🧶 I need to share a change of plan with you, and I want to be honest about why. It has been a difficult few days for me and I have been quite affected. Those of you who follow me on Instagram will very likely now what I am referring to. Right now, I am not in the right place to host a live celebration the way I planned. And I do not want that to take away from what this event was meant to be: a celebration of YOU and all the work you have done. For many of you, this was your first all-over colourwork sweater, your first steek, your first time trying something out of your comfort zone. And that deserves to be celebrated properly, not under a dark cloud. So here is what I would love you to do instead. Please reply to this thread with: ❤️ your favourite photo of your Rujuu Sweater, whether it is a WIP or FO. ✨ 3 words that describe your Rujuu knitting experience 🤔 One thing that surprised you (a challenge or a win) 💡 One thing you would do differently next time We will celebrate together here, on Skool, and I promise I will be cheering for each and every one of you. Thank you for your patience with me this week. I am so proud of what you have all made. 🤍

@Naheed Brown thank you Naheed. The mosaic part of the pattern sparks some ideas....
Yoke Meditation Series No. 7 is out, and I wanted to share it here too.
It follows the same idea as the previous ones in the series: a colourwork yoke that runs well past the sleeve separation, so you have plenty of time to get into the rhythm before things get easier. This one has a more relaxed, oversized fit and is worked at a sport weight gauge. A great transitional weather knit. 🤩 There is a double-knit ridge on the neckband and a fun decrease detail near the cuffs. The pattern also includes chart options for both lighter and darker main colours. And if you look closely at the colourwork while wearing it, some of the motif fragments look like little piglet faces. 🐷 Completely unintentional, but adds character 😁 There is a full construction deep dive on YouTube if you want to go through the build before casting on.
