@Elizabeth Sarah I sent you a message
Glad to be here!
Hey everyone! 👋🏾 I’m Camille Westmoreland, also known as The System Maven. I’m a Business Systems Architect and the founder of MavenVerse. I help businesses figure out where their operations are inefficient, disconnected, or too manual, and then I design better systems to fix it. That can include restructuring workflows, connecting technology, and using automation or AI where it makes sense. Basically, I help businesses build the systems they need to operate more efficiently and scale. My philosophy is simple: Build. Systemize. Automate. Elevate. I joined this community because I’m continuing to grow MavenVerse, expand into corporate and government opportunities, and sharpen how I position and communicate the value of what I do. I’m looking forward to learning from everyone here, making genuine connections, and seeing what everyone else is building! ❤️

@Ayanfe Adesina thank you!
Nobody tells you this about government contracts...
Everyone in this group is here to "learn to earn" in GOVCON & grants, but here's the part that trips people up early: the money isn't in the contract. It's in the paperwork trail before the contract. Most people go hunting for opportunities first. Wrong order. The businesses actually winning are the ones who quietly mapped out who's buying, what they've bought before, and when they'll need it again long before an RFP ever hits SAM.gov. It's less "find the contract" and more "know the buyer's history better than they do." Kind of changes how you approach the whole game, right? What's been the hardest part for you so far, finding opportunities, understanding the process, or just knowing where to start? 👇

@Ayanfe Adesina My niche is business systems, operational efficiency, and technology modernization. I help organizations identify broken or inefficient workflows, redesign their processes, and implement the systems, automation, AI, and technology needed to make operations run more efficiently. So for government contracting, I’m looking at opportunities around business process improvement, management/operations consulting, systems implementation and integration, workflow automation, CRM/database solutions, technology adoption, and AI-enabled process improvement.

🚨 You're Running Too Many Businesses!🚨
Don't be mad, but hear me out… you're running too many businesses with too little resources. 😩😩🙈 Meet me at Black Women Sell Live® if this is you. 👀 But I get it, because this was meeeeee. Let me be transparent with y'all. When I first became an entrepreneur, I wanted to start a makeup line, a law firm, a consulting firm, a glasses line, a digital products business, and write 10 e-books. And of course I had no team, no help, and limited startup capital. I ran these businesses for months… MONTHS… and made $800 between them all. (Oh, did I mention the event planning and career coaching too?) Only when I focused on law did we take off and get momentum. 🔗 Save your seat right now → https://www.blackwomensellevent.com/investfestt?el=skool

This is soooooo good! I think my biggest challenge was doing multiple things trying to see what was gonna stick and takeoff first versus honing in and maximizing. I’ve recently pivoted and I’m seeing results.
Invest Fest Was MAGICAL. 🔥
Sooooo this happened because of my bro @tyboaudio, who was at @investfestival conducting interviews for @earnyourleisure x @bet! Shoutout to @troymillings, who stopped by our booth, and to @neodaviso, who always connects me with the best people. @bre.nicole designed our booth and was so incredible to work with. There’s a lot of talk about Invest Fest and whether it’s a good conference or not. Here’s my honest opinion: it’s for the culture. There’s something for everyone, and what they’ve built is incredible. As a builder, I deeply respect it, and the mission behind it is a good one. Whether you’re looking to invest in the market, invest in real estate, or build your business, you could find your people there. They had breakouts and mega speakers. I didn’t get to attend any of the sessions because we were streaming and coaching at our booth all three days, but even that is a testament to the event. We were there giving specific, strategic business coaching for free all three days, and everyone else was educating too. I was even able to buy glasses wholesale from one of the vendors. All around, it was better than good for us. It was magical. Shoutout to @earnyourleisure — great job, guys! And I’m serious: hit me up about enterprise-level sponsorships. This can absolutely be positioned for the largest corporations in America to stand behind with multi-million dollar packages. Happy to help.

My line sister sent me your recap of your experience and told me I needed to be there next year. I told her I plan to be there and looking at vending and I plan to be at your event next month. I’m making the adjustments now!
