THIS IS FOR THE MOTHER WHO IS STILL TRYING
Some days, I wake up feeling like I have it all together like I’m nailing this whole “mom and entrepreneur” thing. But then, there are days when simply getting through feels like climbing a mountain with no summit in sight. Here’s the raw truth that no one talks about enough: being a mother and building a business at the same time is one of the hardest, most beautiful struggles you’ll ever face. It’s messy, exhausting, and full of moments where doubt creeps in. Moments where you question if you’re doing enough for your children, your dreams, or yourself. I’ve had nights where I stay up late, working on my goals, only to wake up feeling guilty for not being “present enough” for my little ones. I’ve felt torn between chasing my passion and wanting to be the best mom I can be. And I know I’m not alone. But growth, true growth, isn’t always loud or glamorous. Sometimes it’s in the quiet, unseen moments waking up before the world does to plan your day, showing up even when your energy is drained, or celebrating small wins like posting content while juggling a baby in your arms. If you’re reading this and you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, exhausted, or like you’re falling behind I want you to know this: you are enough, just as you are. You’re not behind. You’re building something meaningful both at home and for your future. The path is tough, but every step forward is progress. And this isn’t the end of your story — it’s the beginning of something incredible. I want to hear from you: What’s the biggest challenge you face balancing motherhood and your dreams? Let’s lift each other up in this journey. 💪🏽❤️

But every night, before forks hit plates, they paused. Each person shared one thing they were grateful for. Sometimes it was big: “Dad got a job interview!” Sometimes tiny: “The dog didn’t eat my homework.” Sometimes downright weird: “I'm grateful my burp didn’t smell.” But over time, something magical happened. Their house, though small, felt huge with love. Their laughter echoed louder than any fancy home theater. And those spaghetti nights became sacred—a reminder that life’s richest moments don’t come from what you have, but what you notice. Even the crumbs seemed holy. And so, with sauce-stained grins and warm hearts, the Johnsons feasted on food... and gratitude. What “Grateful Crumbs” have been your place to turn to feel love and gratitude? THE STRUGGLE IS REAL part 2
Last month, I paid for our family’s groceries just from the items I resold. No, it wasn’t thousands. But it was enough to make me feel capable again. Enough to breathe a little easier. Enough to remind me that I can contribute, even in this season of motherhood. Every sale was a win. Not just financially but emotionally too. It proved that this can work. And if it can work for me, it can work for you. I know what it’s like to feel stuck between wanting more and not knowing where to start. You want to provide, to create, to feel like *you* again… But between kids, housework, and life, it feels almost impossible. That’s why I started sharing my reselling journey. Not because I have it all figured out. But because I know how powerful it is to have *someone* say, “Hey, I’ve been there. Let me show you what helped me.” This isn’t about hustling 24/7. It’s about creating something flexible, simple, and *real* on your terms. Something that fits into nap times, late nights, or quiet moments after bedtime. If you’re a mom who’s ever thought: ✨ “I want to do something for me.” ✨ “I want to earn without leaving my kids.” ✨ “I just need someone to guide me through it.” I’ve got you. You don’t have to do it alone. It’s not too late. You’re not too busy. And yes, you absolutely can do this. 🤍
THE STRUGGLE IS REAL
There was a season where I felt like I had nothing left for me. I loved my kids deeply, but between diapers, meals, and never-ending laundry, I felt like I was slowly losing myself. I craved something that was mine something that reminded me I was more than just a mom. But everything felt too big, too overwhelming, or just unrealistic for my season of life. Until I stumbled on reselling. I didn’t need a degree, tons of money, or even a full 8-hour workday. I just needed a phone, a few items to start with, and a little consistency. This was the moment things started to shift... One day while decluttering, I looked at a few baby clothes that i didn't get to rock on my little keisha and thought, “Someone out there needs this.” So I listed them online no fancy setup, no perfect photos. And they sold. That tiny sale lit something in me. I realized I could start right where I was, with what I had. I didn’t need to invent anything new. I just needed to be willing to learn and show up, one item at a time. This wasn’t about getting rich overnight. It was about finding purpose, freedom, and income in the cracks of my day.
