We officially now have a foot in Vermont! Closed at noon on our place in Waterbury. Manifesting another property purchase up there in 2027 (with a barn to set up the VT studio in) and openly set that intention with our realtor, who is an ally in this pursuit. And I guess I’m doing the same here now too with this tribe. 😁

@Philip Folsom thanks brother - though still a happy work in progress.
Warrior month starts tomorrow. Gird your loins!
The Warrior Archetype follows the Lover in the hero’s journey map and represents the need to take decisive action after the time required to heal and recover. This is the actual start of the next heroic phase of improving our lives. For some of us this is easy and exciting and for some of us this is hard and scary. Get to know your dragon in your story. Joseph Campbell says "The demon you can swallow gives you it's power and the greater life's pain the greater life's reply." ‘Decisive’ contains the root ‘cide’ which means to cut or kill and sometimes the Warrior action is to cut off things that no longer serve us. Cutting out refined sugar or scrolling are examples of Warrior Work. Warrior is also the house of discipline and relentless consistency which is required for the establishment of a new practice. Starting daily meditation, a morning ritual, going to sleep at a set time or even flossing daily are examples of Warrior Work. If you are serious about getting results in your life, this is the challenging but necessary phase of action. It is also the phase where we call in our allies who support us and hold us accountable. Post your clear and measurable goals for Warrior Month ON THIS POST. This will force us to clarify our goals and activate our allies for this month's quest.

My goal is a recommit to Tae Kwon Do and weekly ice baths now that my treatments are over and 2x this month getting in my mountain time. So, this a a pure focus on the physicality of life post treatment (and hopefully the establishment of some old well serving norms) Ps. Can’t wait to hit the mats and throw down with my TKD partner- been a few months now since he and I have tussled. Thinking I’m going to get whooped 😁

Spent the day at the VA getting some prep done for back treatments next month. Did knock out my writing today @Brody Davis and held that social media limits @Emile Pretorius Regroup day from the family events. How you feel after you spend time with someone is a powerful diagnostic. Are you revitalized or drained? This may be a central question when deciding who is and is not in your tribe. Fun day yesterday at the museum with @Tanya Folsom

Yah your similar “boat” analogy is a staple for my interactions and boundaries setting. My bucket remains full these days because of my intense desire to restrict who comes to take from it. Funny how most now add to my bucket instead of take from it…
A few updated GH pics
Look forward to jumping on the call with The tribe in a couple of hours. Here’s a few pics from the Greenhouse Project. The 3.5 ton excavator gets dropped off tomorrow for our Carlisle Project. We have it for 30 days- man I love playing with all of these fun toys. Also, start mapping out the stone art piece for this project we’ll bring a crane in for in the fall. Will send some pics along as we start getting into this project as well. Some days it’s hard to believe I’m getting paid to do all of this crazy shit.

Solid day in the field. Nice when we can be working on 4 accounts vs what used to be just one per day not that many years ago. Some kinks and minor Communication stuff we are working through but all and all I’m enjoying my team this season. I’m also really putting in the work as the leader this year on all fronts and I think it may be contributing to the vibe and output. Will get some pics off to everyone tomorrow from the greenhouse project- moving towards the concrete floor pour on Tuesday which will be a huge step after getting all of the subfloor rough plumbing and electric installed and inspected. Really is a fun project and I’m enjoying all of the talented tradespeople I’ve assembled for this build, crazy there are 20 trades/ professionals involved in this with me that I’m managing. Having a blast!!!
