I have been writing hooks for a while now, and the ones that actually land are never the clever ones. They are the ones that say the quiet thing my reader is already thinking. Here are three that stopped people mid scroll for me: 1. Free AI prompts don't fail you. You fail them by asking the wrong question. 2. Your best hook is probably sitting in your drafts because you thought it wasn't "interesting" enough. 3. Most people use free AI prompts like they're paint by numbers. The people seeing results use them like a conversation that keeps getting better. Look at what all three have in common. Each one names a mistake gently, then hands back a little hope in the same breath. No shaming, no hype, just the truth told kindly. If you are staring at a blank page today, go dig through your own drafts folder. I would bet money the line you talked yourself out of is the one your people have been waiting to hear.
