Grant presentation at conference. Time to dress up! Joseph Abboud navy wool suit. Texas thin blue line lapel pin and puffed pocket square. Charles Tyrwhitt white dress shirt. Maroon gray and white stripped tie with sliver tie tack. Brown Anson belt with silver buckle and brown Justin boots. Nautica blue dial watch and Scent Reserve inspired by Spice Bomb. My boots do need a shine wearing this suit. Entire spectrum of dress here for those presenting. Some polo shirts and jeans. Others in sport jackets and a few others in suits. Got through the presentation okay! We'll see.

Outstanding! You definitely look the part for a grant presentation as one to be taken seriously. Fingers crossed for you, my friend. 🙏 When will you find out?
Game on!
1st of 4 games. Tonight vs. White Sox then weekend series against the Marniers. Brought this jersey and a blue one that I'll alternate between the games.
Game on!

@William Feldtmose That is a beautiful looking stadium, and I love the openness to allow the natural light in for claustrophobic fans like me.

@William Feldtmose Boy, I agree on the Astroturf. We used to have in the old Busch Stadium 2, but it was so hot in day games it burned the bottoms of outfielders' feet. And ball in play was just not the same. We have real sod in the new Busch Stadium and it plays much more naturally, but not enclosed for our heat and humidity here in St. Louis. But I can only imagine how hot your prior outdoors stadium must have been though. Have a great time enjoying the games and trip!

Today is that day of the week where I am in the office. It is a terrific day to have come in also. The new Senior Capture Manager started 2 weeks ago and it is someone that I ran into at a meetup for Proposal Professionals a couple of years ago. Chris is a great public speaker and another well dressed gentleman, so I now have someone to talk clothing with at work. Green and brown form a grounded, professional pairing because both are muted, nature inspired tones that convey steadiness and reliability. The cool depth of green adds a subtle pop without being flashy, while brown’s warm neutrality anchors the look and complements my leather briefcase. Together this all creates a balanced contrast and visual harmony that reads polished yet approachable in a corporate setting. Choosing deeper, desaturated shades and fine textures keeps the combination formal and refined. I have thrown in a @Stephen Horner-esque seated photo, just to give it a try. Todays outfit consists of; Oxford Woolrich Mason Overcoat in Dark Olive M.J. Looking great. I do like that first pose if keeping score.
OOTD 2026-07-22: WFH & A Live Music Lunch...
Today, some friends of ours are playing live, jazz-adjacent music at a favorite, local restaurant, so I'll be taking a slightly extended lunch break. Today's outfit features another Bonobos sportscoat that shouldn't have been fully lined. It's a navy glen check with a burgundy/purple over-check seersucker jacket. I had my tailor turn it into a half-lined jacket and adjust the sleeves. Paired with a cotton polo and linen trousers, this should be just cool enough for today's jazzy lunch...

@William Feldtmose Never been to Austin. Going thru Atlanta has always been my nightmare. Maybe it is a thing with cities that begin with the letter "A." So does the word "Awful" when you think about it. Good luck and stay safe, my friend.
