🏆 Nimiq Mini Apps Competition: Special Community Council Rewards
Across the first two cycles of the Nimiq Mini Apps Competition, we've seen an incredible 204 submissions, with 7 official winners selected! Choosing the winners was no easy task. Many apps impressed us, some came incredibly close to winning, and others simply became personal favorites of the Council. We believe great efforts deserve recognition, even when they don't make it to the podium. That's why the Nimiq Community Council has decided to award $100 USD in $NIM to each of these 9 projects across the 2 last cycles! Can't withdraw usdt on Polygon
Hi nimiq team, I can't withdraw usdt from the nimiq wallet on Polygon chain. It gives an error. Would appreciate your help in fixing this.

Reduced fee for publishing capacities on TAKEOVER
Hi builders. Made some updates to takeover and reduced the publishing fee to 15 nim based on complaints that fee was much, now it's much cheaper to list and test the markets for your unused capacity. Check here👉🏼 Takeover-web-gamma.vercel.app

@Jeremy Lee thanks man. Technically no, currently the system isn't designed to reimburse the charges but sure I can make exceptions for some users(that maybe just want to test) and just maybe manually send back what was paid.

@Jeremy Lee yeah if you meant the escrow payment/deposit, yes it is refundable to buyer when delivery isn't confirmed. Also, on the use case, takeover doesn't serve or purpose isn't to replace a missed reservation with another reservation. Not a reservation system – it's a marketplace for released capacity. It was built for providers that wish to sell slots with real monetary value attached to it, use case examples- slots already paid for(paid booking not reservation) and not met up with, scarce slots that were canceled last minute and need to be filled(reservations cancelled) and actually paid for. Basically scarcity is the whole idea - you paid for it in full but can't meet up and use it, there's not a lot available currently and I need this now so I pay you to take your slot. It wouldn't however work with replacement for free reservations because there would be nothing to pay for – there's nothing to escrow, nothing to release, no value to transfer. Also planned reservations(e.g reservation made two weeks in advance)isn't the target market here as they are not last minute(scarce) capacity and don't need takeover.

@Faadil Boussari thanks for the honest and detailed review. Holds are placed when a buyer wants to claim a capacity to keep traffic in check and avoid a clash among buyers. However you're right about adding more explanation to onboarding related to this and a couple, will look into that.
