So how did he do it? 1️⃣ Ryan found his way into real estate while still in college. What made him take the leap? 2️⃣ Instead of waiting for the "perfect time," Ryan relocated and gave himself four months to make land investing work. 3️⃣ Hiring the Right Team with a structured hiring funnel, Ryan built a team that drives results. 4️⃣ Leading Without Micromanaging – Daily check-ins and feedback sessions keep his team motivated. 5️⃣ The System That Keeps Him Focused If you want to build a land business that grows beyond you, this episode is a must-listen! 👉 Visit Land in Leadership Podcast to access resources from this episode.

It's still just me in my land business, but in my previous life I used two mental models: 1 - Performance results discussion (PRD) so direct reports had a very clear idea of the results we are looking for. I learned this model from Dale Carnegie Training. 2 - The autonomy / competence matrix. Basically the better the team is doing the more latitude they get. More frequent interaction/training is needed because goals are not being met, or less training and more recognition/gratitude when goals are being met and exceeded. In both models, communication and trust are the foundation for achieving results.
