🤩 From UX to Facilitation
Hi! 👋 My name is Núria, I’m from Catalonia and currently based in Munich, Germany. I work as a UX Lead at IU Group (private online university) designing digital experiences with a strong focus on user-centered design. Right now, I’m transitioning into workshop facilitation, combining my UX expertise with collaborative problem-solving techniques. ➡️ I bring a deep understanding of UX strategy, a passion for innovation, and a growing skill set in facilitation to the community. I’m excited to share insights, learn from others, and explore new ways to drive impactful design conversations. ➡️ From this community, I hope to refine my facilitation skills, gain fresh perspectives on running effective workshops, and connect with experienced facilitators who can help me grow in this space. 🧭 For fun, I do orienteering —running through the forest with a map and compass. I’m also a trainer, and I’ve found that planning trainings and workshops have a lot in common —both require structure, adaptability, and an understanding of how people learn and navigate challenges. Looking forward to connecting with everyone!

👋 Hola @Núria Badia Comas and welcome to the community! 🎉
Free Video Training - Facilitating a Foundation Sprint (based on Click)
Hi all, I know how tricky it can be to run workshops—especially when you don’t have all the resources handy. If you haven’t had a chance to grab Jake Knapp and John Zeratsky’s book, Click, or if you’re planning to facilitate a Foundation Sprint soon and want to get ahead, I’ve got some exciting news: At Design Sprint Academy, we’ve just launched a step-by-step video series on YouTube, guiding you through the entire Foundation Sprint method! You can watch it here 👉 Foundation Sprint - All Exercises I’m still working to complete the entire series (keep an eye out—hold me accountable!).

Any good AI Prompts for creating a User Journey Map during a Design Sprint?
I'm running a design sprint next week and need to create a Journey Map on the first day. Ideally, I'd build it beforehand based on research, but that's not possible in this case. The team is unfamiliar with Journey Maps and this type of diagrams, but is very familiar with the context of the sprint challenge as well as with the User typical experiences. I'm thinking of using ChatGPT as a starting point for the Journey Map. Does anyone have suggestions or prompt ideas?

Hi @Dana Vetan I know the answer might have come a bit late but here's a blog post that includes a prompt that I recently found but haven't tried yet. Hope it helps somehow.

@Dana Vetan Good to hear! I asked GPT to create a Journey Map based on a hypothetical case for a problem-framing training and it actually did a pretty good job but my guess is that it had to do with the prompt chaining used to build the case. A few weeks before that I asked GPT to make a JM and it was awful.
AI in Design Sprints
AI comes to design sprints — a human-centred approach enhanced by AI technology. Yesterday I was part of an exclusive group that got early access to Autodesigner, Uizard’s new AI prototyping tool. Although still in Alpha, the demo was impressive, and the potential is tremendous, so we are adding this capability to our design sprint training program. Prototyping is a critical part of the design sprint but can be challenging for teams that lack the necessary design skills or resources. It is also time-consuming, which can be a significant obstacle given the tight schedule in a design sprint. But now, with generative AI's help, teams can quickly create professional-quality prototypes with a simple text prompt. This will save them significant time and effort while empowering them to create prototypes that accurately represent the ideas they came up with during their workshops. Below is my quick effort of using Autodesigner to put together a quick prototype announcing that AI prototyping is now included in Design Sprint Academy’s training. It took me two minutes, and I am not a designer by any stretch of the imagination.

Woah @John Vetan this looks amazing! I know Uizard is amazing -used it a couple of times- but this is on a whole new level.

@Nicolai Waldhauser lower learning curve for people with no design skills or sprint teams with no designers. Figma is always an option if someone fells confident with it
Where are you based?
Greetings everyone! 👋 I'm very curious in learning about the locations of the people in the community. Perhaps you'll also discover that there are more members from your area than you previously thought! (and even we may summarise the outcome in a visual, how cool would that be :-) )
