Badge Update
Today it was a sunny day and great weather. I went to our local shopping center. As usual I wear my high visible jacket with my badge. After passing out my rack cards In this huge parking lot I had a security guard approach me stating that a customer made a complaint that I was looking inside of vehicles. After explaining what I was doing and explained that I am totally visible and that I wear a ID badge for business purposes. He scanned the QR code on my ID badge and saw that I had a legit business. I was told to continue with what I was doing and gave me his cell number if I had any future issues. THE ID BADGE WORKS !!!!

Website
So far I have gotten most of my customers from nextdoor but I would like to make a website to get more lines in the water. I have no experience with creating a website. For those of you who have one, how did you do it?

How did you know you were ready?
For those that started this as a small business, after how many headlights did you practice on before you knew it was time? Did you guys get insurance for your business when you first started?

get insurance asap, is my advice. You may NEVER need it. BUT, you don’t wanna leave it up to luck… just protect yourself. Most general liability insurances are like 30-40$ a month and cover a ton. When it comes to making the jump. The answer is once YOU feel ready and CONFIDENT. If you can provide satisfactory results after 3 headlights, GO FOR IT. If it takes you 100 headlights, GO FOR IT. When YOU feel ready, that’s the time, and you will know. It’s all about confidence in you ability and results! Hope this helps.
Dry/Wet Sanding
Hey Everyone! I have a question! Still new to this stuff, how do you know when to dry sand vs wet sand? Also, is machine sanding or hand sanding preferred at lower grits (240-800)? Or is that a preference too? I’ve always wet sanded but I see a lot of y’all dry sanding at lower grits.

If you REALLY need to get nasty stuff off lenses, for example removing a failed coating, then dry will definitely rip it all off.
