I Need Some Advice From The Team
Hey everyone — quick question for those of you consistently getting jobs 👇 I’m out in AZ and I’m putting in the work (posting on Facebook, Nextdoor, flyers, etc.) but I’m not getting the traction I expected yet. For those of you who are booked out or getting steady clients: What’s been your most effective way of getting customers? Not just general advice — like specifically: • Where are you posting? • Are you running ads or just organic? • Anything “outside the box” that actually worked? I know this business works, I just want to tighten up my approach and learn from people already doing it right. Appreciate any insight 🙏
Feel free to message me personally with specific questions if you'd like

@Mike G Facebook and Instagram are the best for me but they take a while to build up
Business Name Ideas🤔
Do we have any hits here? Just add Headlight Restoration to any of these: Full-Beam McClean Afternoon Relight Now You See Me Better Beamer (This one’s dicey😂) I Can Beam Clearly Now Hi! Beams Beam There Done That Where Have you Beam? Big Dreams High Beams Bulb Boys Nando Technology (Nando Tech)?
@Redmond Roberts depends on the area you live in. My business name is Boise headlight restoration, because Boise is the biggest city in my area. However, I service all the cities in the area. Most my work comes from the cities outside of Boise, but anytime people search "headlight restoration near me " or "headlight restoration in Boise" my page comes up
Vapor
When using the vapor system is it safe to say you should start sanding at a 600 grit? I’ve noticed starting at 600 - 800 grit seems to get all the old UV coating that hasn’t faded on the lens yet.
Depends on the light. I always start at 400 when I'm using vapor, just to be safe
600 Grit to 1000?
Can I jump form 600 grit to 1000 grit? I've been doing 600, 800, 1000 but I feel like I'm the only one. Please advise.
I recommend doing 800 as well. I have jumped from 600 to 1,000 before but it requires extra sanding at 1000. It's faster to do 600 800 1000
Enjoying the warmer weather in Boise
The last few weeks have been rainy/windy. As the weather warms up, I'm doing more and more headlights. I do have vapor, so I have been able to do a bunch even in the rain, however it's much quicker using stay clear on a nice day. Today, I did 5 vehicles. 4 restorations and 1 new car ceramic. Stay motivated and keep working hard everyone!

@Jonathan Garza posting on social media. Since it's getting warmer I'll probably start going door to door soon.
