How to fill the grain
This is Randy and I’m a professional piano technician. I occasionally will refinish a small piano, usually upright or an old pump organ. I’m always working with mahogany or oak. Is there a Moore video on filling the grain? I can’t find it. I’ve tried different brands and methods and I’m not thrilled with any of them. Someone enlighten me. Thanks!

Mohawk has a grain filler, as long as we are talking about the same thing @Aaron Moore and i were messaging on this topic on the paid version. He said he only uses the med oak colour. The code is M6084226 but make sure its the proper code For colour and size you want. Maybe contact aaron to double check this information as I’m still very new to this and confirm that I’m not leading you down a wrong path.

I guess it also depends on your system you use. Aaron has his system so he definitely would have more insight.
More than 1 piece at a time?
I thought I could juggle - I’m building a cabinet & I have a table - ( that I feel guilty) I’ve not refinished yet. It appears I don’t have time to juggle 2 pieces at the same time. I currently don’t have consistent work to hire an assistant-

Just got a rack from a company that sells vinyl siding, it is the crate they do the shipping in , it’s 4x4x12’. I just need to make a raised floor as its to high to work on. It will be a nice line to keep stuff moving down the for production.
Hardwood Floor Refinishing!
I just got asked to bid on a floor refinishing job tomorrow, and honestly—I’m nervous. It’s a large older home with original hardwoods, and I want to make sure I price it right and deliver a flawless result. I have a plan for how I’ll tackle it, but still feel totally lost when it comes to estimating costs and explaining the process confidently. Has anyone done a job like this before? Any tips on pricing or red flags to watch for? The client also owns a few high-end rental properties in the area, so this could open up more opportunities if I do it right. Just really want to get this one right. Appreciate any advice! 🙏

I guess the next thing would be make sure you have enough stripper for a project that size its going to use lots. If your close to a supplier that helps as well.
