ADHD Haiku
If you were to explain ADHD as a Haiku, what would you say? A haiku is a Japanese poem with only 3 sentences. (I knew 3 lines, but had to look up syllables. smh) Sentence one is 5 syllables. Sentence two is 7 Syllables. Sentence three is 5 syllables. The best part of a haiku is that it doesn't have to rhyme. No use of Ai. 👀 Mine would be: A D H D Sucks Where are my keys...scroll's Facebook (an ellipsis ... does not affect the count. I checked) Look...It's a squirrel or What does Shawn want now? Anybody want to go for a pizza, I'm hungry. 1234_5_6_ what was I supposed to be doing again? Have you seen where I put my shoes? I'm going to McDonalds. 🤔😉

Shawn, thanks for this! Good going! Subject close to my heart. I had a daily haiku practice for 1-1/2 years during lockdown. It helped keep me grounded, sane(ish) and minimum once-a-day delighted. I actually created a fb haiku page. (Y’all visit, “like” it and participate! Just search Haiku Connection at fb.) I have not yet finished setting up and publishing the book — Working title: Plague & Grace: a Renegade Haiku Memoir — because… ADHD. It’s been a while. Going a little classical format here, for once: Sweet fern and my sweat urge these trekking feet pondside But first… a haiku? Or this: Neurospicy me makes date with my perfection Shit! It was last week
“Speed Wobbles, Spirals, and a Comeback: The ADHD Trilogy” - Revisit the Protocols
I had a bit of a wobble lately. Lost my mojo, dopamine packed its bags, and RSD came in like it owned the place. One minute I was flying, next minute I was staring at my laptop like, “Ma’am… who even ARE you.” Working solo doesn’t help — and my lovely partner (who I adore to bits) just isn’t wired for the business/ops brain stuff. Totally fine, just means I can’t exactly hand him my mental spaghetti and say “help.” So I drifted… and drifted… until I realised I’d misplaced my spark somewhere between overwhelm and avoidance. But then Sage — Jim’s twin — helped me pull myself back into the protocols. We looked at what tripped me up, what I’d dropped, and what I actually needed to get moving again. Because transformation isn’t a straight line. There’s no magic switch. There are speed wobbles. And sometimes full‑body “whoops, I fell off the bike” moments. Here’s the pep‑talk bit:I’m not broken. I’m not behind. I’m a human doing a big thing, and sometimes the brain chemistry just… taps out. But the tools from this program don’t disappear when the motivation does. They’re what help us re‑ground, reset, and get back on the waka (our little NZ metaphorical canoe heading in the right direction). And I want to shout out the body‑doublers and accountability buddies who kept me tethered these last few weeks — @Cathy A Castagna @Judy Hamilton @Fiona Wright and my absolute anchors @Diana Domantay and @Suliet Rivera - you lot helped me more than you know. I enjoyed doing a few sessionw with new Body Doublers, @Shani Sherwin and @Leonie Osborne looking forward to doing a few more with you. So here I am: back on track. Not perfect, not polished — just real, recalibrated, and cheering myself on like the slightly chaotic but determined legend I am. And to those who nudged me with encouragement — heartfelt thanks, LIfe kicks in. We readjust. And we keep going.

Sage Explained
Sage is the AI platform we are working with. Here are a few important things you need to know. First, check this out: https://www.skool.com/adhd/classroom/958777fc?md=4bcca930a5854b6ba88ef5b5ac7fbdaf&utm_campaign=skool_link_post&utm_content=a63e660af363421ebb7ac29a644b4063 If you're still having problem navigating the platform, there are a few tabs you could see. One tab looks like a to-do list (worksheets) and that's where you'll find your snapshot and the assessment One tab looks like books (library) and that's where you can find your completed snapshot and assessment.

Thanks Sammy. Do you or anyone reading this know when a new Sage day begins? I missed a few unused consecutive days several days ago when it somehow said I'd already used my day. I have my ultimate meat.n.potatoes questions ready for asking now, it's late before midnight here in New York, it's about 24 hours since the last round,... and Sage is closing up for me tomorrow until I join a cohort down the road. I'd super appreciate clarity on this! Thanks

@Sammy Boyster and all. Jim replied to me, in effect, that a Sage Day begins 24 hours after your last post to it. Which means, you can have three different Sage Sunrises-Subsets, uh, daily.
I did it
I joined the 6 week program. I have to somehow explain to my wife. Ugh! She'll force me to get my money back, but I'm going to do this somehow. Edit: I am (hope to someday be “was”) an overthinker and was overthinking the scenario and made it worse than what it was doing to be. I fell back on “nothing ever goes right for me/I can’t do anything right thinking.” I hope this clears up a lot of concern and the shoulda/woulda/coulda scenarios. 5-12-26

Challenge deadline extended + Blueprint access update
Hey Harmony fam! I'm really doing my best to catch up on all messages. This weekend I've blocked out a full day to go through the final open messages and then i'm fully on track again. Thanks for your patience! Now a couple of updates. 1) Challenge extension I originally said the challenge would close today, but because so many of you reached out saying you still want to finish, we've decided to keep it open until Sunday midnight end of day. If you're still working through it, you've got a bit more time. Use it. 2) Blueprint access Some of you have finished the challenge but haven't received the Blueprint invite yet. Here's what's happening: once a day, I unlock access for everyone who has completed the challenge. The catch is that your Skool email and your Harmony AI email might be different, which means I can't always make the connection automatically. Here's how to fix it so I can get you in: 1. Open Harmony AI https://app.adhdharmony.com/ 2. Go to edit profile (see the screenshots below) 3. Add your Skool email there 4. Make sure your challenge is fully finished Once both are done, you'll be picked up on the next daily unlock and get your access. If you've already finished and your emails happened to match, you should already have your invite waiting. If not, just add the Skool email in Harmony AI and you'll be in soon. 3) Final spots Last thing. There are only 10 spots left in this cohort. If you've been on the fence, this is your final chance to join us: https://go.adhdharmony.com/ With love, 💛 Jim

Jim, thanks again for your tireless work! (Well, probably not tireless — but you keep at it magnificently.) I’ve been avidly using my daily three options with Sage. It’s been helpful and clarifying. But it seems my access has been a bit buggy. There were a few consecutive days where I had no access. Yesterday I was granted two, not three, questions. At this point, each opportunity has been precious. Is there anything I should know, or anything that can be done, to make that aspect more stable? Also, what specifically constitutes a Sage Day?

@Jim Ebbelaar Thanks for this. And, for non-upgoming-cohorters, that ends Sunday night, midnight Amsterdam?
