"I don't believe most women need to do more. I think most women need to feel more."
One of the biggest reasons grounding is so important is because it helps us come back to ourselves. Without grounding, we can find ourselves carrying emotions, thoughts and energy that aren't even ours. We feel overwhelmed but don't know why. We feel anxious but can't find the source. We absorb what is happening around us and before long, we lose the ability to discern what belongs to us and what doesn't. When this happens, our nervous system is constantly working overtime. We become reactive. We feel scattered. We search for answers outside of ourselves. Grounding brings us home. It helps us reconnect to our body, our truth and our inner knowing. It helps us discern. It helps us feel safe. And from that place, clarity naturally follows. Honestly, I don't believe most women need to do more. I think most women need to feel more. Feel what is theirs. Feel what isn't. Feel what their body has been trying to communicate all along. That is where the wisdom lives. Kym 🤍 Want this deep content sent directly to your inbox?? I resonate with water but also find a fear with water as well.
What is yours beautiful one?
This is something that I hear whispered when I work with many women. Why??? A woman will sometimes stumble across the stories she’s been telling herself all of her life, and when we dive deeper, she often starts to realise that they’re not true. She doesn’t actually love or not love the thing. Why?? Because she has heard this story from such a young age that she actually forgot it wasn’t hers. Has this happened to you? Have you ever owned something from your childhood, only to realise it wasn’t yours at all? Instead, it was something you were told from a young age, and over time, you took it on as your own.
