My challenge that I am going to work on this week is being mindful of my added fats while cooking, salad dressings, and my coffee. Two accomplishments - one, I started to log positive changes and insights I have had (instead of I didn’t or I should) in order to recognize my progress; and two, I have gotten in my walks earlier in the day, instead of waiting until after dinner when my motivation may be lagging. Knowing I already got some movement in my day takes the pressure off at the end of the day.

My biggest win was taking a bite of free pizza at work and then throwing the rest of the slice away because it wasn’t that good so it wasn’t worth it to me. I usually would have eaten at least two slices and then would think it wasn’t that good!

1. My biggest win is just beginning the process. 2. My struggle - although not really a struggle, but an adjustment, is working up to the recommended amount of water and protein- but I will get there.
