New CNC
I just bought a new Onefinity Elete on April 4 it has not arrived yet. But my question is what type bits do I need to get started.

To start, 1/8” 1/4” end mills, up cut & down cut and a 90 degree v bit should get you going. a surfacing bit to flatten your spoil board will also help so you do not have to rely on a 1/4” to do that job. For the end mills buy a at least a couple of each as a new cnc’er you will probably break a few in the learning process.

The majority of our sales are through Markets, be it farmers or big three day events through out the summer, fall and lead up to Christmas.

I have had my CNC up and running since January and our Christmas markets began in mid October and we have been at a market/show almost every weekend since. Our final market is the 30th/Dec 1, so looking forward to a rest but more importantly some maintenance on the CNC.
Software question
What is the best free software to learn on and the easiest on the pocket after that?

Well from my limited experience and available funds to start, (or lack thereof) I went with Carveco maker to start as it was $15 per month. Yes it is forever payment, however I figured while I did not have the funds to purchase a one time payment for Vcarve/pro, I could learn how to use my cnc and then once I made sufficient funds I could out right buy a software package. Just my journey, and loving it so far.
